dtromp,
I was down last week (Feb. 6, 2013) for an interview at the ASC office in Houston. I also felt that a high percentage of the people there would likely get an offer.
For my interview I was actually very surprised at the technical nature. I was interviewing for a senior drilling engineering position. I understood the questions, answered them correctly and without issue but I don't think I've ever had an interview with such technical questions. It just caught me a little off guard is all. It's a good thing though as it ensures that the people they're hiring are competent in their positions. I've worked with far too many people that can make themselves look amazing on paper but when it comes time to actually get the job done they don't have the faintest clue on what they're doing.

Guys
My recruiter in their email clearly said that Aramco has confirmed to see me for an interview and that a rep shall contact me to schedule the interview date and time.
The recruiter also indicated that the interviews will be taking place in the week starting Feb 24.
I have not heard from Aramco yet and I am getting concerned that if there is enough time remaining to schedule an interview.
The same exact situation happened last year same time and no one from Aramco contacted me.
I really donot know what should I do? Any suggestion or share of thoughts.
Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Recruiter contacted me yesterday to confirm an interview on March 6th, yet did not provide the time or location. I asked for those details but have not heard back.
She also asked for me to fill out an application...

Were any of you who already interviewed told to arrive an hour before your interview to watch a video on working and living in Saudi Arabia?
Has anyone that already interviewed received an offer yet or heard back anything from ASC?

The day of my interview, there was a running orientation session going in a small auditorium. Interviewees came and went as their interview started/ended. It was very informative; the lady presenting had lived in DHA for 16 years, and only returned to the States because her husband turned 60.
Two days after my interview, I was asked for 2 pay stubs. My recruiter notified me that Aramco is "finalising and offer". Now time stops.

Congratulations on the offer! Could some of you she'd some light on how the interview s were conducted? We're they technical and in detail? How long did they last?
I am preparing for a interview next week in houston. Confused on how I should prepare, I am an engineer with 7 years under my belt in various roles. My experience is a mixture of operations and project management. I am planning to focus on talking about examples from my previous roles. Any input would be appreciated.

ok1985,
I think your approach will be good. Just be confident with your experience and your abilities, be yourself, have fun, and let the interviewer's style guide you. Good luck!!

Guys
Finally, I got response back from the recruiter this morning. They said that Aramco has requested a video conference interview. The recruiter will be arranging the video conference facility in the city where I live advise the date and time.
I am bit curious. In the first correspondence, the recruiter said that someone from Aramco will be contacting me to schedule the interview. Now I see is that the video conference interview is being arranged by the recruiter, not by anyone from Aramco.
Is this normal, that the recruiter is trying to arrange the video conference and schedule it at well?
I will appreciate any feedback from you.
Thanks

itsgonabeme,
This is different than my experience. I was contacted by an ASC employee to set up the live interview.
