oilsand, I would agree with what CP said earlier,
As far as the BI and medical goes, you have to wait until they send the paperwork to you (mine came with the written offer a day after the email offer). Patience is paramount, you can work yourself into a real froth if you keep counting days, I know I did  Keep the faith; pretty soon you will be posting your own celebratory timeline.

Updated Timeline:
Feb 7: Contacted by recruiter and interview scheduled for next day Feb 8: Interview at the Houston office Feb 8: Verbal offer/confirmation of successful interview (right after the interview) Feb 8: Email offer notification with additional information request (paystub, family and personal information). Offer did not include any details regarding pay, benefits or details about the job. March 4: Finally was able to contact the recruiter. My recruiter mentioned that they are working with hundreds of applicants, thus the reason of no reply to my earlier inquiries. Apparently my offer still stands. ETA given: Two weeks to receive the written offer. March 27: Recruiter confirmed on the phone that I should be getting the confirmed detailed offer any day. March 28: Received email offer with benefits detail. Given 7 days to accept or reject the offer. Email advised that Fedex offer should be in the mail pretty soon.
Will keep you guys posted on next steps...

Here is update on my status: Application Position: Project Engineer Location: Dhahran, SA Online Resume Submission to U.S. Recruiter: a while go (don't remember) Follow-up email from Houston ASC recruiter: Jan. 10, 2013 Houston Interview conducted: Saay, Feb. 9th, 2013 Email offer received: Feb 26, 2013 Fedex offer received: March 06, 2013 Revised Email offer received: March 08, 2013 Revised Fedex offer received: March 11, 2013 Revised Offer and Medical and BI paperwork mailed to ASC: March 11, 2013 Relocation Adviser assigned: March 21, 2013 Received direct deposit/Visa app/booklet and other paperwork packet: March 21, 2013 More paper work "initial contact check list" etc via email from Relocation Advisor: March29, 2013 Mailed all paper work to Relocation Advisor through Fedex: April 01, 2013 Houston orientation and Medical: Tentatively scheduled for April 29, 2013 Visa Medical Cleared: BI Started: Reference Check for BI: Medical & BI cleared: Visa application approved: Departure date: Following are some miscellaneous things that might help you if your timeline is same as mine: I asked my relocation advisor regarding BI and she said that she has sent all forms to BI department. Hopefully they have started the process. Note sure if they are going to call my work references as I had shown on my ASC application or they will ask me again to confirm? I did indicate on my forms NOT to call my current supervisor until I have given my notice. I have also opted out of personal effects shipment. We have lots of stuff and it will be a pain to ship everything and then go through the stress of the whole process. I have been reading some posts and some folks were regretting sending their furniture etc. as everything can be bought there. I even found out they have an IKEA in Dhahran By the way if you take "Cash in Lieu" option, the money is not bad.... You can buy all your furniture with it. Check with your relocation advisor for calculation of cash in lieu. I am also doing our visa medical during orientation in Houston. If you ask your relocation advisor to schedule it for Monday then you only need to take Monday off as they will fly you and your family on Sunday and will be back Monday night. Have a great day!!

Updated... getting pumped up now!
Offered Position: Program Development & Evaluation yst/Instructional Program Designer Department: Program Development and QA Location: Ras Tanura Online Resume Submission to Career Site/Recruiter: November 2012 Email from Houston ASC recruiter: Jan 24, 2013 Houston Interview conducted: Saay, Feb. 16th, 2013 Email Offer Received: Mar 18, 2013 FedEx Offer, Medical and BI Received: March 19, 2013 Offer, Medical and BI paperwork mailed to ASC: March 25, 2013 Relocation Adviser assigned: April 3, 2013 Received Benefits/direct deposit/Visa app/other paperwork packet: April 4, 2013 Houston orientation and Medical: April 15, 2013 Visa Medical Cleared: BI Started: Reference Check for BI: Medical & BI cleared: Visa application approved: Departure date:
One thing that was discussed with the relocation adviser was changing my status to "single" rather than "bachelor" as my wife will not be coming with. According to the the housing status descriptions the actual housing is not any different but the number of trips back home and the medical covee for her was an issue. This confusion may have been caused because our marriage certificate was not included in the returned package (still waiting for a copy). Aramco is pretty sticky when it comes to the "documented proof" and as I had mentioned earlier, you MUST have it in order for things to move smoothly.

TrainingProf, Congrats & good luck. I haven't been contacted by my Relo Advisor, but just realized that I submitted my paperwork 1 day after you did. So hopefully I'll be soon! Can't wait.
Btw, how do you all manage to remain focused on your current job while waiting/anticipating to join Aramco? I found it hard but I know I must keep being professional.

Oh... but you must wait. You should be very close. I have been in an off-line conversation with someone where we are tracking the same almost down to the hour. But we are going to be reporting to the same department as peers in the same job so that makes sense.
I have taken the advise of others on the board. I just try and make believe that nothing is going on in the background. I have to admit that I do spend a bit of time at work during breaks and lunch checking my designated Aramco email account and cruising the forum but outside of that it is business as usual because I still belong to my current job. Once I get my report date and put in my notice then I will be able to relax a bit and b about this great opportunity.

Here's my current timeline. Like RocKiEs I did not hear anything from my recruiter until the day before I received my offer. I was never asked for payslips but just for some additional information on my dependents.
Location: Dhahran Online Resume Submission to Career Site/Recruiter: January 2013 Email from Houston ASC recruiter: Feb, 2013 Houston Interview conducted: Feb.09, 2013 Email Offer Received: April 2, 2013 (52 very long days!) FedEx Offer, Medical and BI Received: April 4, 2013
Now working frantically to get all of the paperwork for my 4 kids taken care of before I send the paperwork back. I'm planning to return it on 4/8. If you have dependents and you are waiting for an offer I suggest gathering their school records (current plus previous 2 years) and their immunization records on letterhead from your doctor. If they do not have current passports you will also need to start the paperwork for those.
Offer, Medical and BI paperwork mailed to ASC: Relocation Adviser assigned: Received Benefits/direct deposit/Visa app/other paperwork packet: Houston orientation and Medical: Visa Medical Cleared: BI Started: Reference Check for BI: Medical & BI cleared: Visa application approved: Departure date:

TrainingProf, Did you get an Aramco email account already? That's cool. Are you able to communicate with your future work group / managers?

Sorry for the confusion. I don't have an Aramco email account yet I just set up a specific yahoo email that I only use for Aramco correspondence. I have asked for contact information for my future work group/managers but my relo specialist told me that specifics like that have to wait until the very end clearance has taken place. My guess is that I will get it shortly after the visa is approved and I have a report date.
