I am still waiting to hear about operations positions since Oct 2016. Had all my phone interviews done by Jan 2017 and was told that inreviews in Houston would be soon. Nothing scheduled yet. Many, many have experienced long wait times. For us at the Jazan Refinery it might be later because (I think) construction has been delayed, which is delaying the hiring. Someone from England, who applyed for operation positions, was told all jobs had to be reapproved for 2018.
I have been told nothing, still waiting

I've been waiting a while now for operations positions (Console tech, jazan) as well although I'm not as far along the recruitment process. Was told November last year that a further interview will be scheduled "in the coming weeks", but haven't really heard anything since.

Hola everyone. Been a long crazy trip but FINALLY got my final clearance to transition to Aramco. My timeline is below.
August 2017 - Interview with Aramco for Technology position Mid August 2017 - Recruiter informed me that I had been selected for position Mid August - Mid October - No offer materializes. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Not looking good. Time to move on. Early October - Another recruiter contacts me for a Finance position. (Totally different position). October - Early November - Interview is moved back three separate times because things happen Early November - Interview goes great. Hopes are back up. Early November - Mid December - No word. Radio silence. Not looking good. Really time to move on. Late December - Recruiter contacts me to inform me that the Initial offer letter has arrived. WHAT!! Early January 2018 - Accept offer. Early Jan - Mid Feb - Everything else has moved amazingly at lightning speed and been very smooth. Medical, Background Investigation and orientation has literally flown by. Got final clearance and am slated to arrive in KSA in late March.
As everyone else on here has noted, getting the offer was an experience. ASC on the other hand has been great. Very pleased with everyone at the Houston office. Been great people to work with through this onboarding.
Good luck to all. Hang in there and all the best.

Wow, daoilman, many Congrats.
I started my process (BI and Medical) early January, now doing my degree attestation. I hope I can get everything done soon then I can be there by end of March before it is getting too hot over there.

Coming in from Houston. FYI, thanks for writing those lengthy descriptions. Really helped give me a sense of what's up and what to look forward to.

o guys,
Please I need some help/advice.
As part of requirements for my conditional offer for role of Drilling Foreman (which I have already accepted), I underwent a Well Simulation test 2 weeks ago. I personally don't think I did very well thoughđ.
However, when I sent a mail to my RA asking for updates, she said she has no updates yet.
My background check is ongoing. I am just curious; if I failed the practical test, would I have been notified by now? I really am a bit confused. I don't know if I passed or failed and how this may affect the recruitment process.
I would really appreciate any response in this regard, from past experience.
Thanks.

General rule of thumb: no news is good news.

Of the two 'timeline' related threads I found, this one's older and hasn't been posted on for a while - but helped me when I was waiting 'in the dark'. The other has subject 'Receiving an offer' and was started by user Countryoilman.
Future readers, please go along to that thread for my timeline.

Hi Newbie I was interviewed in July and got an offer in November. All the while I had lost hope. My advice is forget about it and donât stress. Hopefully you will get an offer letter. When I was told an offer was being prepared it took 2 painful months to get the offer letter. Just have faith in the process and be patient. I am now going through BI which in itself is a nerve recking process. Good luck

Hi All!!! I was involved in an interview (video) on February 6 this year. HR representative from London office contacted me mid of March to send filled application for employment in and all my documents including payslips. March 26 I provided all requested documents. How long time is needed to receive an offer? How long time is needed for joining? The job is based in Dhahran for Upstream Center of Excellence.

Hi
I was approached by a recruiter for a position in Dhahran: First contact: Jan 28 2020 VC Interview: Mar 11 2020 I haven't heard back any news yet, but I noticed that Aramco recruiters were escorting me through the steps. The first recruiter is different than the one who arranged my interview. After a follow up with the second individual, I was directed to follow up with a third person. Not sure if this typical, can you please share your experience?
