Need to ask recruiter to know for sure but saw another post that said it means the same as “Not Selected” for an interview. It is confusing and odd message, though.

Please how long does it take to be scheduled for an interview?
My profile has been showing " congratulations you have been selected for an interview" since 2 weeks ago , but i am yet to hear anything.

Hiya Just got a link to the onboarding portal where all these questionnaire require filling, submitting IDs etc Although, there is no official offer yet, it is a bit strange process applied to me as I do not see others going thru this before receiving offer. Has anyone experienced this? I did. They said this is now being done to expedite the process while waiting for official offer as it could take several weeks\months. If you read the statements they are saying this process is not a guarantee that you will get the offer so doing it is voluntary.

I’m wondering the same!! Feel very impatient !! I know it will vary for each role and really how long is a piece of string but very interested to know how long each applicant had to wait to hear from “your application has been forward” to interview! The job applied for is still live on the forum I applied early September, my status changed to “you have been selected for interview” early October, then had an email from HR one week later with information on interview timing. I was interviewed end of October.

I also got the link to onboarding portal was given a week to fill all forms and questionnaires. Recruiter emailed for Passport copy, Investigator emailed for Degree/Marriage verification, RA called for medical (but voluntarily) to expedite. However, no offer or anything yet. Talked to recruiter and they informed not sure if and when the offer would come. So, mix feelings. anyone shed some light on this?

Hi, i am new to this forum and must say that there is a lot of helpful information.
I was interviewed in mid October for a non-engineering role. The interview went really well with positive closure, but haven’t heard back since then. There is radio silence and my recruiter says she doesn’t have any update as yet from the KSA. Just wanted to know if there is anyone else in the same boat. Is it good to assume that i didn’t make through to next steps in the hiring process?
PS. I didn’t apply online, rather got contacted by the recruiter through linkedin. So can’t keep a track of application status.

Good Day all!
I posted these couple of Q' in a dedicated thread but both queries were not addressed.
So I deleted the thread post and thought I will give it a last try here ,as this thread is very active, fruitful and include some members who already finalized the entire hiring process ... hence may have enough insights to at least partially clarify part of my confusion here....
**********************************************************************
I Just applied online couple of weeks back for two opportunities ,so I still have a long journey to take if I am successful (I do not have previous experience with Aramco application process itself ,but was working for 6 years in a very similar giant in the GCC; hence totally aware of associated generic layout of the process ,the system and the timelines).
I am applying from Canada as a PR as of now ,although Canadian Citizenship is already applied for 1 month back ,but processing times nowadays are really huge ! So "Incase" I am successful ..I do not think I will be having the Canadian Citizenship proof by then .
I have two "almost unique" questions (or at least I didn't see exactly the same queries yet!)
1)If I was successful and was hired on my current citizenship, is there an internal process of changing citizenship (had this among my previous GCC company 's internal procedures ) ...and hence such change may impact "community/passport"-based benefits (ex. Schooling ,Air tickets ,Accommodation locations/limits ,etc.) ? Just asking here if this process exists and can alter the already agreed on benefits @hiring time ..and not the details of the process or associated benefits .
2)My 2 applications changed to the "Congrats+ forwarded " message in around 48-72 hrs ...then after a week turned into "Under review"...does that mean there is a "North America" based recruiter to which these applications are first routed too in the background , after which my application was screened then confirmed as a good match and hence forwarded to the "KSA based recruiter", who is now reviewing it and providing such status of "Under Review" ..or that means that currently the" hiring manager" is the one doing that for both applications?
In general...is it common that applicants get the "Not selected" update right away from the source region's recruiter? Or 80-90% of the time the source region recruiter go like : " If its not really irrelevant or suspicious application ,I am forwarding this to the local recruiter! " kind of action ?
*********************************************************************** Your support is highly appreciated !
Bregards

As per my understanding they don't Hire people with PRs, they take Canadian Passport Holder. I might be wrong though.

I'm currently at stage 4, guessing that stages 2 and 3 are focused around the interview. I haven't received an offer but did submit my payslips, passport and educational certificates etc. The application stages are 1- Applied 2- HireVue recorded interview 3- hireVue panel live video interview 4- verbal intent to offer 5- you submit salary slips 6- written conditional offer 7- background checks 8- visa medical 9- you receive your visa block by email 10- finally you are asked to officially resign from your current job if any 11- now you are allocated housing 12- visa stamped in your passport 13- flights booked 14- iqama medical in Saudi a week after you land 15- 6 month probation Fee free to PM if you have any questions. I am in UK as well

o,
Does anyone know if an offer is negotiable? because I have read in other forums that Saudi companies does not do that. Does Aramco allow you to negotiate the offer? or if I do it, they will cancel it?

You can negotiate. They will either give u what u want or say take it or leave it. Keep in mind it will likely delay the hiring process because it will require re-approvals if they agree. Be reasonable and have supporting justification for asking for more.
