Same here as the Agent in Pak is waiting to get the original letter from Aramco. I have not been advised to get these photocopies yet but I am sure I will and it will likely be another YES/NO between the two and will have to wait for few more months!!!!! :x

submitted attested passport copy to cultural office yesterday, and now found out that they need the contract attested from MOFA KSA.
I had requested Aramco in June to provide me the contract and letter (both attested from MOFA), but struggling to understand why they did not provide the attested contract?
This means another month until I will get the contract attested...
Does anybody know why Aramco is hesitant to provide the required documentation ?

Everyone,
Can you please provide a contact of an agent who can help with the process for a BSc Engineering degree verification from Lahore, Pakistan? I asked my father in law to help, who took my degree to the University of Punjab for verification. The admin department has kept the degree and have quoted a duration of a minimum 2 weeks before returning the documents, does that sound OK? I have also read that the inter and metric certificates will need to be attested before going before HEC, what is the process for that?
I had a call from the Aramco agent yesterday who was discussing timelines, she said that my visa block might come around the end of this month but the degree verification is something that can hinder the process. Can anyone share their experience where the process has been held due to the degree verification?
Would appreciate if anyone can advise...........

M_A looks like u have been sent in wrong direction, ur degree needs attestation from HEC, MOFA, Saudi Cultural mission Islamabad and then finally from Saudi embassy Islamabad. Pleas read through this thread on requirements.
The first 2 are quite easy and takes only 2-3 days in total. The last 2 are a nightmare and some people here are struggling for months.
For HEC, pls check their website; briefly speaking you need to send the authority letter in name of person gong for attestation, all original certificates
Best of Luck

Degree have already being attested from HSE and MOFA, pending letters from Aramco.
Appreciate PM response.

Hi borolady I am waiting for that attested contract since June. My degree will not be attested without it. I don't know why Aramco is hesitant to attest the contract by mofa. They think they are still eaived but saudi embassy insisted to get contract legilized by mofa.

Thanks borolady,
I would appreciate if someone can PM me contact details of an agent I can use. I am based in London and don't have many people I know who I can ask to get the process done for me in Pakistan. Seems like my Father in law is being given the wrong information too.
Another question is, are Aramco heavily reliant on the degree verification before issuing a visa or for the process to go any further?

M_A i do not know any agent, I had similar problem, finally I have found somebody (a freind of a relative) whom i ll pay to go there personally, he is not a professional and is doing as a favour..
I have got mine and family visas stamped without degree attestation but i think u need it to get Iqama once you arrive there (as per my knowledge, it is reqd for registration with Saudi engg council and Iqama cannot be issued for engineers before registration)
regards

M_A, You can try contacting MIP ( www.mamooinpakistan.com). I've not used them, but Aramco suggests them to their candidate from US and Canada. Also, I believe AOC would have put you in touch with Mckinnon (who are Aramco's agent in Pakistan), whilst Mckinnon will not submit your degree, but they can give you suggestions and contact details of a few agents who can submit your docs with Saudi Culture. Hope that helps...

Thanks UK_Finance_Applicant and borolady. It is somewhat relieving that visas are still issued without the degree attestation in case it is taking too long. I will try to contact the agent and see where I get with it.

M_A,
To Clarify:
I reconfirmed from my RA to clarify about the requirements of degree attestation, please read below:
"No one can get a visa without degree attestation unless the degree is in the same country we are applying in. "

Thanks Toronto2KHR
I received a call from the agent that the visa has arrived but once I told her that my degree has not been attested, she said that I cannot be mobilized unless it is verified.
The status of the degree is that I managed to get it verified and hopefully insha I it will be attested by the HEC tomorrow. I spoke to an agent in Karachi who said they are happy to assist with the process and said it will take approximately 6 weeks for the remaining steps.
