Hi
I'm looking for ppl who need to have their degrees attested from Pakistan by the Saudi Culture Office at the Saudi embassy in Pakistan.
I'm going through nightmare of a experience and not getting anywhere. Can you plz reply back if you have in the past had your degree attested from pakistan, or if you're going through the process right now.
I've shared my experience thus far in a post, "Degree Attestation - Need Help !!".
Basically I need the following document: 1. Letter from Aramco addressed to Saudi culture in pakistan requesting they attest my degree. This letter needs to be attested by ministry of foreign affairs in Saudi and orginal of that needs to be submitted in pakistan - my relocation advisor has said she will provide me with this letter, but it will not be attested! Aramco agent in pakistan says attested version is a must! And the agent and my relocation advisor don't seem to talk to each other.
2. I need copy of my visa slip or a letter from ministry of labour in Saudi with my visa details and this needs to be submitted to Saudi culture with my degree for attestation. Relocation advisor is saying she is not aware of this requirement and my visa block has not been issued as yet anyways. Agent says this doc is a must, without which they can't move forward. And again, the agent and my relocation advisor don't seem to talk to each other!!
Thanks much for your help!!!

Hi, One of my friend went through the same. So I know little about it. I haven,t been through it personally. Apparently this is the rule by saudi culture who is advised by the saudi govt to follow this rule and saudi culture strictly follow that. Letter which is provided by relocation advisor in uk but that letter cannot be signed by foreign ministry as letter is issued by uk office and not saudi office. If u can ask relocation advisor to get this letter issued by saudi aramco in saudi a with seal on it then someone in saudi can get it signed by ministry and then u can DHL that to the person who is dealing with this and they can show it to cultural centre. Also is aramco agent from Karachi or Lahore as both have different way of dealing so be careful as aramco does not really take any responsibility of their action as this is your responsibility. In the end after about 3 months of struggle aramco officers in saudi spoke to saudi culture in Islamabad and there was big back lock with same problem and then it was done. It's catch 22 situation, nothing in your control. I will ask my friend as in the end he found a contact in cultural centre and he was talking to him for updates. I know it won't help you but I am just trying to tell you that it is frustrating and you are not the only one in boat. It happens with every one and yet relocation advisor seems not to know about it for some reason. Good luck

Hi drfarooq1
Thanks for the reply!
The agent in Pakistan is in Karachi, .
My relocation advisor keeps telling me that Aramco has a special arrangement and there is no requirement to provide attested copies to Saudi Culture or Saudi Embassy. And that visa page is not required. She has also said, that Aramco will provide a letter addressed to Saudi Culture in Pakistan (unattested) and nothing more. I am still waiting for this... should receive in the next few days.
The agent keeps telling me that this is a requirement and he has communicated this to Aramco in UK.
Agreed at the end of the day I need to take responsibility and the initiative to get the attestations done myself!
Any help or insight, or even who the right person is at the Saudi Culture in Pakistan to deal with these requests would be much much appreciated.
I will PM you my personal contact details, if you can perhaps put me in touch with your friend who has gone through this.
Thanks very much !

The above are the requirement for attestation in Pakistan, is the conclusion...
My relocation advisor is working towards it. I am still waiting for my block visa slip, which is the first step in the process!
Still keen to hear if anyone has successfully completed the process.
Thanks !

Any update regarding degree attestation process? Please let me know the exact requirement for Saudi Cultural Center so I could request it from my relo adviser. Currently my degree is with HEC approval.
Appreciate a quick response. Thanks

Hi
This is the advice given to me by Aramco's agent in Pakistan (Mackinnon Mackenzie). I personally am still waiting for my visa block, after which other letters will be arranged by my relocation advisor.
I would suggest that you do check with your relocation advisor in terms of who to contact in Pakistan to get your degree attested - if you're in Canada then it might be MIP. But I believe process / requirement is still the same.
Please let us know how you progress with the attestation process and which documents were actually required in the end.
----
DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENT FOR DEGREE ATTESTATION FROM KSA CULTURA ATTACHE -:
Followings are required with each degree by cultural office in below order:
1. Saudi Aramco letter ( Attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs KSA -will be provided by London office ) 2. Mackinnons Letter ( will be provided by Mackinnons) 3. Copy of power of attorney ( will be provided by Mackinnons) 4. Agreement Copy ( Offer Letter signed by Saudi Aramco & Candidate attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs KSA) 5. Block Visa Slip 6. Passport Copy 7. CNIC Copy

Yes our agent is MIP Services as well. My degree has done from MoFA and now going into Saudi Cultural.
Can you tell me the progress of your documentation that your relocation adviser was working on? My visa le has been issued already so I hope my second requirement is fulfilled.
Please PM me if you want.
Also, appreciate if other applicants can comment regarding their progress.
Thanks
