Any one's relocation advisor is up to speed now on the requirement and promising to provide the required letter attested by Saudi Chamber? Can you please share the name with me in PM so that I can advise my relo advisor to speak to that person so that I won't have to bore her much

I have got confirmation yesterday that mine and family visas have been granted. But degree attestation is still stuck at cultural office as they asked for attested copy of my passport; Cultural office have advised that Aramco must directly DHL the attested copy to them. My documents pack was directly sent (by McKanzie) to my contact in Pk, hence I do not know what they have sent. However I insisted Aramco to provide attested copies from MOFA. I assume cultural office do not need anything else from me other than attested passport copy.It took almost 2 weeks to get from Aramco. Hope they have sent it yesterday and things will be sorted out soon after Eid holidays. Does anybody know if I ll b able to travel with family without degree attested? and what will be the implications? Many Thanks and regards

borolady,
Hi
Good to know you've received your visa le. when did you get this? and what role are you going for - function and what's your nationality.
Regarding, sending attested copies of passport directly to Saudi Culture, they asked this from me as well. What I did was, I got Aramco to attest a copy of my passport and then I couriered these over to Saudi Culture myself.
I have also received a request letter attested by MoFA in KSA. Got this late last week.
with this, I am now going to try and submit my documents to Saudi culture again and see if it works!
Mackinnon are then ones who arranged for this, not my Relocation Advisor, it took them almost 3 months to arrange this letter for me.
My visa le has not been received, so my attestation request might still get rejected, but I guess its worth a try.
let us know how you get on with yours... who are you using to manage the process of submitting your docs to Saudi Culture? Are you going through a local agent? Can you please share details.
Cheers

amna78, Its a million dollar question, I was told by my contact (who submitted the degree to cultural office) that it should be color copy attested by Aramco and DHLed directly by Aramco to cultural office. But somehow my reloc adv believed that it should be attested from SAUDI embassy UK, hence she asked me to send her my passport, which I did. then she went on holidays and a new reloc advisor took over and she thinks it should be attested from Aramco. It has already been 3 weeks since I requested the attested degree and still not sure whether it has been sorted out. I will let you know as soon as I hear something which will be mid next week.

borolady,
This seems to be a new requirements which was never relayed to me from my agent. Does it applicable on Non-resident Pakistani applicants as well ?
This degree attestation process is never ending man!

it is a never ending process... my take on this is that the people at Saudi Culture are just being difficult for no reason...
it seems that every time they ask for something new!
I am non-resident, and they asked for Aramco's attestation on my nicop and passport.
not to say that now with this my degree has been successfully attested. I will find out what else they need when it is submitted again in a couple of week's time...

Hi All,
This forum has been very useful to gather information. I have recently been offered a position with Aramco and have submitted the signed hard copies of the requested documentation. I have my medical next week. I have been told that my degree will need attested through the Saudi Consulate in Pakistan. I have a BSc degree from Pakistan and had no idea about what the process would involve. After talking to a friend who has joined Aramco a year or so ago and had a BSc degree from Pakistan, I was told that the entire process is handled by the McKenzie agents and I will not need to worry. It is however a lengthy process. On calling the agent I was told that I will need to get the degree verified from the University then the HEC and MOFA myself, they will then take care of the remaining process. Any ideas of the HEC and MOFA process, how long it takes and if it is OK to nominate my uncle in Lahore to help? My family is here in UK so he will be my contact.
I have also read through the timeline responses and could not see what the timescales were for anyone going through the process where they need attestation of degrees through Pakistan. Would the remaining aspects carry on while the degree is being attested or is the process on hold till that happens? Any experiences would be helpful?
Furthermore I have been told there is no places in the camp for new hires, they are being accommodated in the DH Towers, has anyone else with family been offered a place in the tower?
Thanks and Eid Mubarak to all.

UK_Finance_Applicant- Thanks.
So, it means they need attestation on NICOP too. Good I came to know now. I will email my relocation adviser so she will start the process in parallel. Just to summarize all they need is the attestation from Aramco and not from the embassy? Correct?

Toronto2KHR,
That's what Saudi Culture told me. Although this is not an official requirement. And Mckinnon, Aramco's agent in Pakistan, does not believe this is required... So you never know they might ask for something else next time...

I just finished this extremely frustrating and tiring process of degree attestation from Pakistan. It took me over 3 months to complete this process. For the people in this process, every single document they(Saudi culture commission in Pakistan) require has to be attested by KSA embassy not by Aramco and every thing goes directly to Saudi Culture from Aramco ,not you. I am based in Canada, I got my NICOP and passport notarized from here and sent to my RA in Houston, who notarize them again and sent to KSA embassy in Houston for final attestation. Then she sent everything directly to commission in Pakistan. Mackinnon requirements for culture commission are not up to date.

That’s great news dirt2oil!
Can you please give some more details so we can all try and attempt to get our process going.
1. Did you use a local agent in Pakistan to submit your degree and handle dealing with Saudi Culture on ground? Can you please share details 2. What exact documents did you submit, gathering information on this forum and speaking to Saudi Culture directly, I understand the following is required: a. Request letter from Saudi Aramco attested by MoFA in KSA. b. Original offer letter (this does not need to be attested, but should have an Aramco stamp). c. Passport and NICOP copy, attested by local Saudi embassy (i.e. Saudi Embassy in US / UK) – understand this from your post above. I also understand from your post that this attested by Aramco rep would not suffice. 3. Degree needs to be attested by HEC and MoFA in Pakistan before it is submitted to Saudi Culture. 4. What was the timeframe from when all your docs were submitted to getting them back?
Mackinnon have given me some other documents, but I believe these are not required by Saudi Culture.
Is there anything else which is required, or that you submitted?
Cheers!

Hi UK_Finance_Applicant I designated my friend to act on my behalf to complete attestation process. Mackinnon only issued a letter of authorization for my friend. Sent all my original to my friend including matric, inter and degree. Along with my documents , Aramco sent following doc directly to culture. All documents were attested by KSA embassy in Houston. 1.Offer letter (complete with other details in offer package) 2.A request from Aramco for attestation of documents to Saudi Culture and Saudi embassy in Islamabad 3.Copies of my passport and NICOP It took over a month of processing time at Saudi culture and two weeks at Saudi embassy. Before getting to this point, I had to go following steps 1.My degree was attested from university-one day 2. Next step is HEC but HEC require you get your matric and inter certs attested from relevant boards -20 days 3.Attestation from MOFA of Pakistan-2 days 4.Saudi Culture in Pakistan-40 days 5.Saudi embassy in Pakistan-10 days Final attested degree only, was directly sent to Aramco. My "attested degree" is one of my valuable's now

Dirt2oil,
Great to know regarding the completion of this long process for you. I am also from Canada and in the same boat, I would love to know your experience. There is an agent who is working on my behalf for this process, it seems I am hearing different requirements every time. So far it already took 3 months for me.
Appreciate your reply.
Cheers

Hi Toronto2KHR
What stage is your degree attestation process at? Are you waiting for anything from Aramco?
Thanks
