Hey guys, I also did touch base with my recruiter in Houston last week about any updates. He mentioned that HR dept is being formed and hopefully more about the new process /packages may be known after april. at this time, they know of no additional info. pretty much in line with what you guys are all hearing.
lets see.... lets keep each other informed.

Just noticed that some jobs like family practice and psychiatrist have have been re-posted on the website.

Thanks for that Hashdigger, I just checked the website and the american aramco site ( www.aramco.jobs/) has the family physician job back on again but the european website ( www.jobsataramco.eu/) doesn't, maybe it's work in-progress but atleast the cogs are turning finally. Do we need to reapply or just sit and wait, any thoughts anyone? |

I emailed the Houston recruiter with the same query . he said u can reapply but there will be no action until May 1st. I asked if my previous application is still being considered ( I was put "on hold"), he replied "great question"

If u click on link of American site posted by ukdoc you will find these jobs.
@ hashdigger. I am very surprised that they said u can reapply as u are already on hold. I assume as before that no one knows anything. Let's see what london office has to say. Pls let us know the response from london office if someone contact.

It's a great step that job postings are back up. Hopefully, more specialties opening will be added as before.

The scenarios that arise from this situation are:
1. If we reapply will we go to the back of the queue and need another interview?
2. Does Aramco wants us to reapply to start afresh with the new joint venture?
recruiters don't know much, we're just "blind leading the blind" at the moment! :?:

At this point I really dont think Aramco has much to do with it. They seem to have handed the ball off to the Johns Hopkins "joint venture" team. Since we are being told the HR department hasnt even been set up yet I dont think anyone really has a concrete idea what's going on at the moment.

My impression is that the different departments in JHAH are restarting again and are not necessarily synchronised, I.e the recruitment department, recruiting representatives, HR, website organisers and the top body who make the final decision.
I look forward to any updates.
