emailed my recruiter two days ago and he says he will 'definitely' know something the end of Sept...so I'm thinking there's a 50/50 chance he actually will, but I'm anticipating getting pushed back yet again.
This is fun...right?!

HAHA! I would say he's definitely a glass half full kind of a guy- 'Just a little longer', 'We are getting close'
But he hasn't used such strong terms as 'definite' since last November. November was when I was told my offer had been created and that I'd have it 'in a day or two' as it needed 'just one more signature'
Supposedly my offer was created, and in the sign-off process when the plug got pulled for hiring people before the JV was in place. I never laid eyes on said offer so I have no idea if it was actually created and really was just one signature away from becoming official. That was the last time I got any sense of warm fuzzies from my recruiter. Ever since then it's been never ending updates of 'check back at the end of X month' or 'check back after Ramadan'
You'd think at some point things would almost have to move forward, but it's so hard to know.

Yeah, it's been some time. I am due for my monthly touch base with my recruiter. I assume that the response will be similar... Let's see, will keep u all posted.

so my recruiter in houston also had no news.. he advised to check back at end of september.. so we'll see.....

The Johns Hopkins International Medicine website has had JHAH positions posted since the spring. I've applied to all that I was remotely eligible for and never heard anything.

Houston said they will be getting a presentation on 9/29 with policies and procedures and he anticipates that to hold the answers we have been waiting for.

Sounds like a step... Just wonder what this presentation will hold; just procedures for new hr, hiring... Wonder if it will address job positions, way to handle recent applicants, packages etc
Let's hope it holds a wealth of info
