o everyone,
Another good source to get an idea of timeline from first contact by the recruiter to final departure to KSA is to review the post by "Cheeseypouf" led "(Not Really) Definitive Timeline Data Post". Its not scientific, but definitely a good overview.
In my personal opinion he/she has done a good job of collecting the data from this forum and putting it together for future potential candidates.
Good luck.

'Offer recommended' should indicate you will receive a conditional offer but you need to be patient, it took 7 weeks for us to receive the conditional offer, that was two months ago. Each step requires patience.

Thanks fromCalgary2...
Yeah understand that its a loong process. Good to see lots of guys here are from Calgary.. Can you post your timeline so far...that will give a good idea. Moreover whats your position? I know its too early right now...but I am more concern about the big things like 2 houses and 2 cars...sell them..rent etc.? Wondering if there will be enough time after the offer to wind up every thing? Stay in touch..

Asked my recruiter about my application yesterday (Feb,28 Calgary time) by email, he said my application process goes well, was just behind due to 3 weeks of recruitment and over 100 offers to process.
If you was interviewed by the managers of your department, I think they make final decision and don't need to be back to Saudi Arabia to get approved.
Good luck to all.

Hi usjd and calgary2 I am from calgary too and had my interview on Feb 10th in Houston. I have received an email offer and have provided additional information. My recruiter said that they are sending written offer package through Fedex. Now in waiting mode..... I have lots of questions as well on what happens after an offer is accepted. This forum is great source of information. I will be moving with family and will be selling house and cars. Its a big move. Hopefully we can keep in touch to share information. I will update my status as things change. Thanks Stampeder

I have updated my timeline on previous page, I am currently in BI process stage, had interviewed on Feb 07....my start date is in April so events are on fast track for me. Based on my experience and by reviewing last year post, it is important to check with your recruiter every week to keep things moving and to gauge the progress.

Just updated my timeline on page one. Apparently Houston recruiters are working with hundreds of applicants files, thus the reason of delays.

@ stampeder - good to know that... I am on the same boat I guess.. Got email from recruiter on Feb 20 that offer in progress Got another email on March 6, asking for some additional information to prepare and fedex the offer to me... Looks like things are going in fast speed here.. I might not be ready for that..therefore will repond to email on Monday..rather today..to buy more time with every step.. The reason ofcourse selling stuff, especially 2 houses.. My email address is usjd@hotmail.com...good to have contact outside the forum too. One thing I want to ask is the pay stub...In january when I submitted the application form and sent to ASC..there I filled my current pay etc...after that they never asked for paystubs.. I asked recruiter yesterday if they need them... and she replied no.. I am expecting the pay raise (annual increment) sometimes next week.. The best would be they should get the new paystubs before sending the offer... but not sure what to do? Should I wait for the offer to come and then show them the new paystubs and try to match.. or should I just send new paystubs by next week and hope they include that in the offer? Also want to ask which department you are going into..I been told Project Managment Department...? Thanks usjd
