GTSA123,
We're an American family so I believe they use the consulate in Houston. The visa is dated the day after Aramco received the passports so turnaround was extremely fast. Our relo experience has been wonderful so far.

Commercial Role (Western European) Dhahran 4.2.2015 - Resume submitted on website 5.2.2015 - E-mail received. Request for interview. 6.2.2015 - Interview on Skype (1,5 hours) with 4 Saudi employees with commercial/operational background.
Next steps? Feedback early next week. Impressed how fast the process is going!!
For most here did the salary expectation (inserted on website) match the offer? Has anyone gone from an expatriate role to Aramco?
I am already in an expatriate role, i.e. I pay no tax, house and car allowance provided. I fear if I receive an offer, based on what I read here that Aramco might not exceed what I already have. I read that most people say that salary shouldn't matter that much, but it sure does when you are already an expatriate. It will be interesting to see what they come up with if the give me an offer.

I have been reading through the previous posts of fellow Canadians with regards to Out of Country Insurance and would like some assistance in finding out costs and covee so that this can be researched in advance. Any assistance is appreciated.

o All,
Last year I wrote that my position was on hold. This February Aramco contacted me again and asked for interview (Skype). 5th Feb my interview was hold with 3 people from UK office. I liked how it went, hope for positive feedback (1 hr, many technical questions etc.). Position: Loss Prevention Engineer.
Anybody has similar story? Please let me know.

Hi Cookies23. Please can you tell me how you negotiate the first offer. meaning if you are not happy about what they gave you you tell them how much you want , and if there any risk that they will cancel their offer?
Cheers

Hi flifca, When I received my initial offer, I had my next year's increase numbers provided to me. So I went back to them and told them I had an increase in my base pay and supported it with pay stubs to prove my claim. There is always a risk if you ask them and they if they say "no" then it is up to you to accept the original offer. Hope this helps. Cookie23
