O&GEngg,
Congrats! Finally you are done with the process. Actually you case is pretty fast, like an express compared with others. From receipt of your stamped passport to your departure is two months. Is that your choice or the rel. department can't get your moving and house arranged in shorter time? FYI. I am heading to ASC tomorrow for orientation and med.

Hey MissingSki - ya the two month timeframe is on our end; not ASC's. Ever since the start of this process I have advised them that I would not be able to travel until the 2nd week of August due to previously arranged family commitments. They were very accommo......... with us in this regard which was fantastic.
Enjoy the visa medical process...it was an experience I will never forget hahaha. If they already have a visa le for you then you should be able to travel about a month later than us (mid-September) assuming everything goes smoothly.

Hi all New to the forum and hope you could help. I recently had an interview at aramco offices in London in late June. Have not heard anything fro me recruiter- I understand it's ramadan so there may be delays. The interview was v avee and I know I made a few mistakes. However, the role I interviewed for is still advertised. Should I just sit and wait or should I call the aramco hr contact- he said to expect something in writing regarding the interview in 2 weeks or so. It's now been 3 and counting. And if forbid I don't make it, how quickly can I apply for other roles? Am really nervous and would like to gain some clarity! Appreciate the help ! Regards

I was looking forward to post my timeline here, I finally can share it:
First contact with head hunter: Jul 6 2013 CV Sent: Jul 7 2013 CV Discussion: Sept 28 2013 Interview at SPE ATCE in NOLA: Oct 1 2013 (previous night I attended a nice reception hosted by ASC) Request for pay slip: Oct 8 2013 And then....... monthly phone calls from the (very apologetic) ASC recruiter, making the promise that the offer was going to come shortly, until.... Offer received by email: Feb 7 2014 ( yes, I am not kidding) FEDEX package received on Feb 10 2014 Acceptance on Feb 14 2014 Sent hard copies with medical / BI forms on Feb 20 (ish) 2014 Relocation Advisor assigned on Feb 25 2014 (I think I got the best RA anyone could have) Visa Block assigned on March 13 2014 From there I spent almost 6 months waiting for my new passport (you could guest my nationality based on this info) Medicals done by May 17 2014 Passport submitted to Ottawa on Jun 25 2014 Visas received on July 3 2014 Clearance letter Jul 7 2014 Departure set for Aug 20 2014 Total time.... Let's say 1 year I have been assigned to Rakkah, Abqaiq and now it looks like it will finally be Dhahran Towers.
Thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing knowledge and experience, I hope to meet a lot of you personally when we land over there and get started our new adventure

Bluewire, yes call your recruiter contact. Keep in touch about every 2 to 3 weeks as necessary.
If you do not get an offer, you can reapply immediately. Just because you do not get an offer from one department doesn't mean you can't get an offer from another department.

All Thanks v painter for the email.appreciated...
I finally grew a spine and called the recruiter in London. They apologised and said that they would like to make an offer, that it shouldn't have taken so long and that I should wait for the official offer email. Will keep you posted.
Ps does anyone have the grading structure etc at aramco? What grades correspond to hierarchy/ experience etc? Also as they already have my payslips what kind of offers should I expect? Thanks again all.regards
