Good question. I could be wrong. My Houston Relo Specialist has just said she was sending it off and I thought it might be to KSA. I hope it is only to the consulate here in the U.S. Maybe that would make it happen faster.

RickT,
The Passports are sent to the country of origin or the country which you're applying local KSA consulate for Visa application, not to the Kingdom. Even thought it usually takes from 10 to 20 days to get the passport stamped so you can travel to the Kingdom.

Hi All,
I am new to this forum. I read most of the info and found it very useful and well maintained guidance, based on previouses experiences.
My time line is below: January - posted my CV in Aramco website. Beginning February - contacted by london recruitment team for skype inteview. Also, was asked to fill application form, submit certificates, payslip etc. prior interview, which I did. 25th February - skype interview was hold. Now - waiting for feedback.
General impression of interview:I worked in several O&G companies and was interviewed with them several times, last one even up to Director with deep technical questions and documentation review. I expected from Aramco interview similar apporach, the JD itself was quite challenging. But all this did not happen. 2 aramco reps (1 expat, 2nd saudi) were in interview. Basically intervew was run by expat guy. So, they just asked me to go through my carrer path (same time looking at my CV), and asked couple of questions by stopping me. At the end briefly went throuth their department and projects, and asked if I have questions to ask. This is all.
My questions: Is it how interview happens with Aramco or only in my case? Could this mean I did not impress them by telling my experience story? It is normal when, as they have plenty interviews at once?
Some advice and share of past interview experience would be greatful!
Thanks!

Hi Calgarian Congratulations on your offer! So your pay stab was requested even before the interview? In Calgary O&G companies, we typically have high annual bonus, and retention bunus in form of stocks or cash. I hope the SA package also considers this in addition to the base pay which occupies smaller fraction of our total Canadian compensation compared with other parts of the world.

I went back into my emails and realized I got my letter, app, and request for paystubs 05/13/13.
Time do fly.
The application, as it turns out, expires, so when the offer was finally cut I had to re-do it before they could issue the offer because the job app has to have a date that is less than 6 months old.
Cool and interesting rule - good to remember if you have submitted stubs/app and time is dging.
It is critical to keep in mind that every case is different. The main thing is patience and don't change your life around until you get notified that there is an actual visa for you. In fact it's good to relax a bit because it's a whirlwind of activity/forms/tests that won't stop until family members in KSA have their iqamas and entry/exit permits issued.
We cleared everything - medical, background, school - two weeks ago, currently waiting visa. Who knows we hit the 1-year processing mark before we arrive.

Here is my timeline (Drilling Engineer - US): First interview : 10 Sep 2013 (in person - I was told to expect another interview in two weeks) Second interview: 27 Nov 2013 (phone) Offer Email: 12 Feb 2014 Offer Package received: 13 Feb 2014 Offer accepted via email: 16 Feb 2014 Offer package sent back to ASC: 28 Feb 2014 (waiting on passport renewal) Relocation advisor assigned: 4 Mar 2014 First contact by BI: 8 Mar 2014 Initial contact with Relocation advisor: 12 Mar 2014 (requesting information on current job) School acceptance letter: 13 Mar 2014 Second contact by BI: 14 Mar 2014 (requesting information on old job) Relocation package received: 14 Mar 2014 Second contact with Relo advisor requesting newly signed application: 17 Mar 2014 (applications do expire after 6 months)
I will keep up......... my timeline whenever I have any updates. As you can see from my timeline above, things were moving very slow at the beginning and I had to wait more than two months for my second interview and more than two months later I received my offer. However, the long wait was rewarded with a great opportunity so we all need to have a lot of patience.
