I am in gas Production Department and I am not sure why the urgency with secretaries and I was not told how many they require. I know of at least 5 slots which need filling.
I have a one bed apartment and it is very nice, my neighbours are lovely and very helpful.

Here's my timeline:
Work Location: Dhahran
Off-days residence: Ras Tanura.....(Changed to ABQ)
Online Resume Submission to Career Site/Recruiter: June 12th,2013
Follow-up email from Houston ASC recruiter: June 13th, 2013
Houston Interview conducted: Saay, June 20th, 2013-Was actually a Thursday.
Pay stub submitted: July 8th, 2013
Email offer received: July 16th, 2013
FedEx Offer received: July 18th, 2013
Medical and BI paperwork mailed to ASC: July 19th & 20th, 2013
Relocation Adviser assigned: July 19th, 2013
Received Benefits/direct deposit/Visa app/other paperwork packet: July 19th, 2013 (Did not have the direct deposit paperwork in there; would ask for one at the OR. ## I will get it in the Kingdom)
Houston orientation and Medical: Scheduled for July 29th....(Medical for the 31st of July)
Visa Medical Cleared:
BI Started: July 24th
Reference Check for BI:
Medical & BI cleared:
Visa application approved:
Departure date: Tentative...according to my relocation adviser (October 18th but could be much earlier)
Would update further after my orientation. Also, a big thank you to all contributing to this forum. Reading the postings made it an easy decision for me and I am looking forward to the new adventure/chapter of my life in Saudi Arabia.
Update:
BI : Received call from "BI" July 30th (Now waiting for school to confirm my graduate degree)
Houston orientation and Medical: Orientation July 29th; Medical July 31st

Update:
Visa le: September 9th Apparently, I was amongst those that got a Visa le but since I was out of the country, just turned in my passport for the application submission. (Should have been submitted yesterday for Visa)
Update:
Visa Issued: September 30th
Final Clearance letter: September 30th
Departure: October 23rd (Have to fulfill my two weeks notice obligations etc.)

Sleep, don't worry. The hiring process to come to work for Aramco is long and has many silent lengths of time. People get sick, people go on vacation, etc.....etc.... Eid Holidays occur.
Keep in touch with your recruiter every few weeks, even if you don't hear back right away. They will contact you at some point.

email indicating that the offer is ready and is waiting for the signature
from vp? Is this a normal process ?

6 Feb: request for F2F interview (workshop week 12-15th Feb 2013), missed it as being abroad and skype did not work in hotel
20 Feb: inivation for VCI
18 Marc: VCI (1st Interview)
11 June: Invitation for F2F interview from AOC
18 June: F2F interview at AOC in London (2nd Interview)
14 July: email from AOC that offer is being prepared and to confirm family status
17 July: e-mail offer received
18 July: hardcopy offer received via UPS
23 July: offer accepted, paper work sent back to AOC (offer, BI/med with additional supporting documents for BI)
29 July: Reloc Advisor Assigned
5 Aug: Reloc Advisor sent istructions regarding the testiifcaiton of degree and merriage certificate
7 Aug: First contact from BI company, requesting additional documents and contact details for references
8 Aug: E-mail sent to BI company with documents, contact details, etc.
15 Aug: Visa Medical Done for me and wife in London; marriage certificate left there for attestation
12 Aug - 29 Aug: MSc Degree attestation process in home country
4 Sept: Marriage Certificate attestation done
10 Sept: Called Reloc Advisor for update, confirmed that BI and Medical Questionairre done and cleared; wiating only for Visa Blocks to be issued and for Orientation in London in early October (tbc)
3 Oct: visa block received
8 Oct: passport sent to London embassy by agent
9 Oct: visa approved and stamped
10 Oct: orientation in London
15 Nov: departure to KSA

Hi everyone, I'm new to this but here's my timeline
Position : Marine

recruitment: from London
15 March: Cv sent
19 June: Interview in London
17 July: Job offer received
12 Aug: Bi submitted
23 Sep: Visa medical cleared
I'm still waiting on a final decision as I was originally told that I was priority to relocate ASAP. However things have slowed right down with no date for orientation meeting and my recruitment agent hasn't a clue what's going on either. The Visa department still have my passport which are just waiting for the green light then they can go ahead and issue the visa. Frustrating isn't the word here as I need to start thinking about other work and why have I gone from priority to hardly existent now.
Looking at timelines on here I know that it varies on department but has anyone else experienced or experiencing the same here.

Received email from BI Agency that they got the docs 11th September 2013
received Foreign agreement and Aramco indefinite contract 16th September 2013
Signed Agreement and sent it back thru courier 17th September 2013
Got update from Agent that BI is cleared 22nd October 2013
Agent asked for Original Degree / Marriage certificate and wife's passport copy as they need to get that attested from Saudi Embassy / Sent that today 23rd October 2013

Jut read your post and noticed some similarity:)
I had more or less the same timeline, and will be working in Power systems planning and engineering (though not sure whether within planning or engineering team as of now).
I will fly to KSA on 15 Nov, and will be living in Abqaiq as well, so i guess see you soon at some point:)
