Good Afternoon everyone, New member here and this forum has been a godsend. Like many of you, I am on the same boat, they did ask for my pay stub and transcript, and currently waiting on the next step. I do have some questions maybe one of you might be able to help me out? 1) they sent me this onboarding email, where we have to submit some documents, and there are due dates on those. I haven't received offers yet are those still mandatory? 2) I am a Canadian citizen, so based on this thread it has been mentioned they match your pay but I am curious do they take forex exchange into the account or it is just transferred to USD (eg if my base is 100K CAD would they match 100K CAD and offer 87K USD or would they just covert that 100K to USD) 3) how do they account for RRSP (401K), stock options, and saving plans that we have with our current employer? Thank you in advance for your assistance As far as i know uploading documents on silk road is mandatory... They apply the forex rate... In my case i sent them my yearly statement including all the benefits i recieve from my company so they can account for all those in total compensation... Thanks raul for your feedback, they only asked for the last three pay stub and nothing else. Maybe I will wait to see if and what they come back with.

Thank you in advance for your assistance 1) Yeah some of the requested items are required for the department to make you the offer, so I'll suggest meeting the due dates. 2) They would do the conversion . Your offered base is not always going to be exactly same as your current base. Don't be surprised/discoued if the offered base is 10-20% below your current base. I would recommend looking at take home money when making the final decision. You can always negotiate but it comes with possibility of offer getting pulled all together. 3) I would say account for all your benefits when you provide them your monthly salary number

Really? If it was net income (gross less your home country's income taxes) considered as your base + premium, I don't think anyone would be going to Aramco. It's obviously gross pay + premium. Believe it or not they use your home net salary then add the (+ overbase + Bens so 60%) …and try to spin it as a tax saving. So if you were on 10k net p/m they’d offer 16 tops. So a tax saving but that’s it!! It’s actually less than gross if you’re in an EU country.

just a follow-up question, does having a credential ( MBA, P.Eng) equates to a higher package or it's all related to your current salary?

I asked around 20% higher then my current net base. Thanks - appreciate it. I was a little confused about this question because they also ask for the last 3 months pay slips and I thought there was a set formula on how the compensation is calculated so not sure what they're getting at with this. Appreciate the feedback

I had also thought that they look at Gross. I feel that it should be at least this much to make it worth while to move since there is no upward mobility at Aramco for expats...

Agreed - I highly doubt they will offer that but its worth asking. Do let us know if you get an actual offer and whether its anywhere near your request! And don't fall for the tax saving, low cost BS from AOC...cash is king!

What does this mean in recruitment process. "Thank you for your efforts so far. Your recruiter will connect to you when we can continue the process". Cowboy, I got this same message this morning. It’s been “We will contact ASAP to discuss our offer for you” for the last couple weeks. Now have the message above. What became of your of status or situation above? Or anyone else that received the message above after receiving a pending offer message? Thanks JRS

Hi Everyone, I'm in pre offer phase and they are asking me to put my salary expectation: what is your advice shall I put in according to my yearly gross (base salary ) + 40 % + 20 % or is it something like yearly net (base salary) + 40% + 20 % ? any help would be highly appriciated!!

Use your gross salary to calculate your expectations. This will give you some room to negotiate if the offer is lower.
