o Everyone .......I am new at this forum, so I apologize in advance if this question (or similar) has been answered before. I recently interviewed for Specialist Engineer position and got a request to submit documents like pay stub etc. My understanding is that Aramco matches the current pay for the base salary with the expat premium . My question is that the base salary is always going to based on the current pay stubs or do they also take into account compeive market rates for that position? I believe I am under-paid at my current job and if Aramco goes by my current pay-stub that would translate about 20-25% less if I was in similar role in North America.

First of all Congrats! What I heard that the typical formula is Base Pay + 10% or 20% base overpay or expat allownace Plus you have to consider the no tax pay on your salary and the free housing and schooling provided by Aramco. I am also in the same boat and waiting for offer since I submit payslips three weeks before.

Out of curiosity, Have you guys been informed officially that you had a successful interview and you will be receiving an offer explicitly or you assumed that when you’ve been asked to submit your paystubs?

I have been told that department would like to extend an offer and submit the payslips, copies of passport, degree etc.

Same here. They asked me to send them the documents so that the department can extend the conditional offer.
@humash: Did they ask you for the expected salary?

Wa oh! That was quick...Congratulations! And thanks for the feedback...
May I ask if that was for an engineering position, mine was for an engineering position. Also, is your recruiter based out of Houston? Sorry but I am a bit anxious as to why it is taking so long to hear back from them in my case. Hopefully it all turns out to be positive but I am a bit worried

Nice..Im happy for you both...I dont want to be negative but I start to wonder if the long delay in getting back to me isnt a bad sign? Like, it seems they usually get back with positive feedback within 2 weeks after the interview....Wondering if you guys know of anyone whose interview wasnt successful. Any idea how long it took before they heard back from Aramco?
