Dont loose hope. I think it all depends on the department you applied. Some takes more time some less.

Job Status: Interviewing with Aramco

Nice..Im happy for you both...I dont want to be negative but I start to wonder if the long delay in getting back to me isnt a bad sign? Like, it seems they usually get back with positive feedback within 2 weeks after the interview....Wondering if you guys know of anyone whose interview wasnt successful. Any idea how long it took before they heard back from Aramco? Firstly, Congratulations to all those who have made it past the interview stage and expecting formal offers You asked a very pertinent question here and I am keen on learning from people's experience. "Is there anyone whose interview wasn't successful and how long it took them before they heard back from Aramco"? Before being shortlisted for interview, I had applied to a role that didn't take more than two weeks before getting a rejection email. I had my interview early March and I have been told by my recruiter that I have been placed on hold. I don't want to start feeling negative yet about the whole process. I will remain positive because it's been said here that different departments have different timelines

First of all Congrats! What I heard that the typical formula is Base Pay + 10% or 20% base overpay or expat allownace Plus you have to consider the no tax pay on your salary and the free housing and schooling provided by Aramco. I am also in the same boat and waiting for offer since I submit payslips three weeks before. Depends on how much you are currently on and the grade code the job has been set at amongst other things…they may not even match base salary and try to lowball you, as they did with me. If it’s just a tax saving then probably not worth the effort if you have good options back home imo.

o Everyone:
I am new to the AramcoExpats forum. Thought I would mention my experience thus far as well.
February 17, 2022: Received email notice that the Aramco Team wanted to do a virtual interview with me for an Engineering role in the North Area. March 2, 2022: 1st Virtual Interview. Somewhat technical however mostly behavioural. April 5, 2022: 2nd Virtual Interview. All technical. April 12, 2022: Received email to fill out forms and provide documents so that a conditional offer can be made.
My recruiter is Houston based and he asked me to mention my expected salary. He also mentioned that this process would take somewhere between 4-8 weeks due to Ramadan.
Hoping to hear positive news soon.

Hi there, I'm in the same boat with some of you. I did my online interview mid March and haven't heard anything. Not sure what is happening. Likely it is a "no go" I figured. I applied from Alberta Canada.

o Everyone .......I am new at this forum, so I apologize in advance if this question (or similar) has been answered before. I recently interviewed for Specialist Engineer position and got a request to submit documents like pay stub etc. My understanding is that Aramco matches the current pay for the base salary with the expat premium . My question is that the base salary is always going to based on the current pay stubs or do they also take into account compeive market rates for that position? I believe I am under-paid at my current job and if Aramco goes by my current pay-stub that would translate about 20-25% less if I was in similar role in North America.
Are you in upstream or downstream? You can negotiate the salary and ask as least market rate. If you work out of Houston, it is very normal that your pay is 20% less than Houston and also reasonable to justify with Aramco HR.

I am also in the same boat and waiting for offer since I submit payslips three weeks before. It's Base pay + 40% overbase + 20% monthly benefits supplement. Depending on whether you are USA payroll or global payroll. USA payroll is 20% overbase (expat allowance), plus 401K match and pension. Pension and 401K match are about 30% of base pay.

Looking at FAQs on this forum and one of the post states " There are 3 tiers professionally in Aramco ... GC11-14 (PE IV, PE III, PE II, PE I) GC15-17 (PE Specialist, PE Consultant and PE Senior Consultant), GC18-20 (Principle PE)". I am not sure if this is still applicable as the post is few years old. I am curious if Aramco has any salary range for the specialist engineers or based on GC levels or is it always going to be based on individual's current base salary.

What are the chances of negotiating the offer will become successful? How long it takes for Saudi team to respond? Do the approval process starts again?
