I’m confused!! My recruiter emailed me saying my interview was successful, I’m amongst the top shortlisted candidates and asked for my documents. But my job portal shows ‘not selected after interview’
What does this mean??!

The status update may or may not be correct. |

Before my interview, my recruiter had said they might consider me for a few similar positions even though I had applied to just one. My interview went fine, and I was told i will be getting the offer. I randomly checked the application status one day and it said not selected but I did end up getting the written offer later. So it could just be a case of them selecting you for a similar role under a different posting |

1st of all thanks for sharing your experience, very helpful for those who struggle,
just want to know, my status in SAP says congrat, your app has been frwd to hir.org, and also job post is removed from list of available vacancies on jobs.aramco page,
could you guys please explain what does it mean, do I have to wait more? or is it over?

Hye all, this is my first time posting here. I've been reading all of your comments and would like to share my timeline:
09/03/2023- Approached by Saudi Aramco Talent Acquisition Specialist via Linkedin and submitted my CV.
10/03/2023- Entered SAP SuccessFactors database, status 'Congratulations, you application has been forwarded to the hiring organization'.
19/03/2023- Status changed to, 'Congratulations. You have been selected for a live online interview'.
27/03/2023- Received an email on details of interview.
11/04/2023- Hirevue live online interview. Next day, status changed to, 'TQ for participating in the interview'.
18/04/2023- Status changed to, 'We will contact you asap to discuss our offer for you'.
05/05/2023- Got an email on intend to offer and was asked to submit documents; application form, updated CV, latest 3 pay slips, passport copy, and degree copy. Submitted docs on the next day.
19/05/2023- Still waiting. System status remains the same. But, date keeps updated every single day since I submitted all the docs, I guess they are up......... something in system.

o, I am new here and I applied for various posts and wherein on some, I got "Congratulations! Your application has been forwarded" and it been more than 3 weeks but not getting any response. When shall I expect an interview?

When shall I expect an interview? Just because your app has been forwarded doesn’t mean you will be selected for interview. Could remain at that status for weeks or months before changing to “selected for interview” or “not selected”. This topic has been discussed exhaustively on this thread - please read up. |

jrs, then what the candidates like me should do when the status like "Congratulations! Your application has been forwarded" remains for months? shall we keep wait for interview call or forget it?

Best advice is to just carry on with your life. If Aramco decides to move forward with your app and selected for an interview, you will be contacted, which could be weeks, months or never.br]The “congrats your app has been fwd” just means you may have pass an initial screening process, which I think is stupid status update because it gives candidates false hope. IMO, Aramco should only notify you when you have been selected for an interview.

“App under review” is auto response u get as soon u hit the submit on. At least it was for me. I believe it is meaningless other than you successfully submitted your application.
