Funny enough, my interview last year was exactly like that: there was simply no “click” between me and the guys on the other side. The whole conversation was rather clumsy and we were hardly on the same page. And it had nothing to do with regional specific, the chat just simply did not flow. The outcome was that they were willing to extend an offer (which is still under question because of this bloody COVID). Just want to say that the aftertaste from interview may be misleading. Wow!! That’s exactly how it felt, very clumsy. Really weird. I really felt like I totally failed. But I’ll just wait for their response. Thanks for sharing your response.

When did all of take place, and did you ever receive an offer?

I reckon I was among the unluckiest ones: my interview took place in January 2020. In February I was informed that they would be extending an offer and I was asked to collect some docs (pay slips and something else what I already don't recall), fill pre-offer questionnaire etc. Took me a bit of time, I guess I was done by early March. Then got into that hiatus due to COVID. I actually spoke with the recruiter about a week ago and as per what she said my hiring department has not yet restarted recruitment and not much clarity was given about what the future holds.

I hate that for you. Such uncertainty in these trying times. I still haven’t heard anything yet, so I’m still hopeful.

For the same position the new department management interviewed me and the answer was negative, after last year old management recruited me for and starting the offering process.

Hi Guys, I had interview at the start of June and feedback during the call was very positive, they asked to confirm that I have references or not, interview ended at high notes but waiting for further communication. Is it okay to wait as its almost one and half month now ? any advise would be great. Many thanks.

I had a verbal offer 5 weeks after my interview. There’s no hard and fast rule on timing. Every department is different plus the VP who has to approve the offer maybe out on leave etc. Best bet is to contact your local aramco recruitment agent / officer and he can check in the system on the status
