Hi to all,
The Shoura Council on Monday will vote on a proposal to convert the proposed sports stadiums into fully fledged sports villages.
The late King Abdullah ordered the construction of 11 world-class sports stadiums in various regions of the Kingdom. The new stadiums will be built in the provinces of Madinah, Al-Qassim, Eastern Province, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, Northern Border Region, Jazan, Najran, Baha and Al-Jouf.
In line with King Abdullah’s directive, Saudi Aramco has been entrusted with the task of building the stadiums. The King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, which was inaugurated by the King in May 2014, was built by Saudi Aramco.
The Shoura will also vote on another proposal asking the General Presidency of Youth Welfare to take appropriate measures to tackle the phenomenon of hooliganism, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
These proposals are included in the report prepared by the committee for social, family and youth affairs after examining the annual report of the presidency for the fiscal year 2013-14.

Thanks for the reply James, I have been dealing with a recruitment agency called Admiral Placements for the past 6 Months or so, In December I received a call at 11.00 am asking if I could go to London for an Interview that same Day, I told them that due to my location it would be impossible for me to get there in time, I was then told it was the last Day of interviews and I would be called back in January/February, This never materialized, Recently Admiral published on there Facebook page that interviews would be taking place again in the UK from 24th April to 1st May, I have sent numerous Emails and messages to the Admiral Recruiters regarding this but no one responds, Has anyone else heard of this recruitment company as I am beginning to think its some kind of Sick Scam.
Regards
Neil.

Nomade30,
Shoura asks Youth Welfare Presidency to convert stadiums into sports villages RIYADH — The Shoura Council on Monday urged the General Presidency of Youth Welfare to convert the proposed sports stadiums into fully-fledged sports villages.
The session was chaired by Shoura Council President Sheikh Abdullah Al-Asheikh.
The late King Abdullah had ordered the construction of 11 world-class sports stadiums in various regions of the Kingdom.
The new stadiums will be built in the provinces of Madinah, Qassim, Eastern Province, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, Northern Border Region, Jazan, Najran, Baha and Al-Jouf.
The council also called on the presidency to take appropriate measures to tackle with the phenomenon of hooliganism in a scientific and wise manner, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
These proposals included in the report, prepared by the committee for the social, family and youth affairs after examining the annual report of the presidency for the fiscal year 2013-14.

Dear friends Let me be brutally honest here, the KSP project is not happening. Some of us resigned from reasonably good jobs for the project but the powers that are in charge do not really care to tell us the truth. To be out of work for a number of months is no joke. Those that are still working please carry on working and those not working intensify your search for work elsewhere. I have given up hope and to be honest at this point even if a ticket was to be issued I would be reluctant to take it because I am not sure how I would be treated once I get there. It would appear business ethics are not applicable. It is just not right to offer a man a job and not deliver without a reason, such mind games have no place in normal human society. We were all told the project would start in January 2015 but it did not and no explaination has been given - they LIED to us Liverp

I saw an Advertisement HAKA is recruiting positions for 11 Stadium just today. So, do you think they will start now the delayed project? Please share if there is a new development of this project, waiting for mobilization process.
Thank you.

I doubt anyone was intentionally lied to...It's completely normal here during financial downturns for major projects to get put on hold. Projects that are not critical to Saudi Aramco oil production are easy to set aside until oil prices rebound and cash flow improves. It is unfortunate that the Stadium project has been delayed, and most likely, no one has an answer to give you, so they say nothing...Anyone who gives you information about WHEN the project will start up again is just sticking their neck out. It might, however, seem like good advice to move on and try to find meaningful work doing something else rather than just waiting for this project to kick off, as there is no certainty it will. The new King clearly has no problem reversing royal decrees issued by the late King Abdullah and replacing them with his own, so it would be no real surprise if the whole project was simply sped.

Liverp,
This isn't anything new, I was shown the dream and all my emails were answered quickly and positively as soon as I got here the reality was somewhat different to their empty promises. (I was shown the Aramco website and videos of Dhahran camp where I would be working for the "big boys" in reality as a SMP you are the hired help, you have no authority or power, just blindly follow what they want you to do and just count the money.)
I can't emphasise enough that you need to have the ticket in your hand (well email inbox) before you quit your job. unfortunately a lot of people are blinded by the dream and potential earnings.
You have no rights over here and are treated accordingly. Western expats are treated no different from the Indians or Pakistani's. The stadiums have been downsized from 21 to 3. and there are plenty of SMP's already here in Kingdom being reallocated or terminated.
The running joke here is SMP (Scum Man Power). ***************************************************************
victorce79,
Agents are constantly recruiting as they have to supply a certain number of manpower under their contract with Aramco
**************************************************************** stmayo11,
If their lips or fingers are moving they are lying.
I don't want you to read this as negative, this is the sad truth, some of the guys who manage to get out here are on considerably less than guys who came out last year, or the year before.
