We got our visa le last week and waiting for visa and didnt hear anything after that. With the holidays coming up next week for the saudi consulate, did anyone hear when should we expect our visas?

Yesterday my reloc advisor told me (Euro payroll) that they started visa process again from sunday.
So i think it will be the same for other payroll's

I'm waiting for my visa (Aramco Trading). I'm told that they will let me know as soon as they get the visa (block number I'm assuming here). I have been silent observer so far. I had done me and my family's visa medical in Houston on October 07, 2013 and was asked to submit passports the same week. We sent the passports on October 9.
Just wondering at what stage passports are requested! Does this mean visa le is availble??

Django - I sure hope so, but I heard that it takes time after Eid holiday to get people jump started.
Flash - I am no means an expert, but the issue you have referenced in the article is with Iqamas issued from Passport Department and the Visa le is issued from the Department of Labor to the best of my knowledge.

Hi, I just had a question if anyone being hired from Canada was issued with a Visa le in the last week or so....I was told that the visa les will start getting issued right after the eid/hajj holidays but haven't seen much activity yet.

I can only tell you my experience. We had visa medical with my wife on 15 Aug in London, and left passport there. Visa block arrived on 4th October. So it is not necessary to have available visa blocks when passports are collected.

Apparently this is not unusual at all.... they have had our passports since Sept 17th when we went to orientation. We are still waiting on a visa le.... Hoping that it will not be much longer. We were originally scheduled to be in country Nov 19 however that date is not looking possible. We are scheduled to live in DLC and I am in the Materials Management group. And yes, this is really testing my patience..... LOL. :twisted:
