i have been told that aramco is waiting for my visa le ... from my research does that mean my specific job le is not on visa block they currently have.
Is anyone else in same situation?

Yes i had the same issue but do not worry.
Since Aramco receives those block visas in advance they have to use them.
Medical exams in home country must reccomend you for the job position mentioned inthe visa block and not the one stipulated in your contract. In fact all paperwork with KSA authorities whether for you or for your wife/dependents regarding visa must reffer to that block visa position to which you've been allocated initially so that no issues and questionmark to pop out later.
Of course after you've got your iqama i supose this will be no longer applicable.

Yes, we are in the same situation. We have been waiting almost 6 weeks for our le. The Houston office gets issued a block of les once a month. The reason this time it is taking forever is because of Ramadan. But it is over. I know they were hopeful the les were going to come through today since everyone is Saudi is back to work today.
The first time we applied for our visas they used a generic le(Operational yst) and we were rejected. They use what ever they have available when you apply for you visa. This time, since we were rejected before, they have a specific le they will be using for us this time so we don't get rejected again.
When the le block comes in the UK and Houston office are both using these les.
We have been told that this is normal and there are many, many people waiting for their les, so No, you are not alone in this process.
Hope this helps. Hopefully the les will be coming this week.....

People are still returning. Not everyone has returned at this time, depending on if they just went out for the Eid Holiday or if they connected it to their repat vacation.

Your job le has to match your degree otherwise it will probably be rejected.

I talked to my Reloc Advisor yesterday, and she told me they received the block of Visas on Tuesday 8/27. She said if there was a le available for me she would be notified. Evidently they don't know or do ANYTHING there unless SAP tells them!

i am also stuck on visa le..BI and Medical all cleared up ,I have employee id, moving company assigned, moving company visited my house and made list, less than a month before i join the job AND now we are waiting...north american cultural doesn't teach patience but this job process is..  |

Hi Everyone,
I just talked to my relo advisor and there is great news. They did in fact get a block of les on this last Tuesday but it was only a small batch of 20.
They received a LARGE batch of les last night. BUT because of Labor Day the Houston office is closed today and Monday.
They know the les are here but they don't know which ones have come. They cannot see on the computer which ones are here. They will know Tuesday morning.
Our relo advisor said she would call us ASAP if our le has come and will apply for our VISA immediately.
So if anyone has been waiting as long as us (8 weeks) the wait might be over! I hope this brings peace to a lot of people who are waiting. Our first go around with the Visas got rejected because we did not have the right le. So we really have been waiting for 11 weeks since we applied for our Visa the first time.
Also, she said that blocks are starting to flow in. So even if your le is not in this one then they are coming.
I pray that everyone gets their les on Tuesday. I know how you feel if you are waiting. This is a tough process.

Thank you for passing on the info to us. It is a great relief to hear that Visa les have arrived, hopefully everyone will have their visas applied soon. All the best to you and others who are waiting for quite sometime. I look forward to an easy process from now on.
