I haven't heard anything from ASC Houston office except that the visa les back log will start to get clear in the comings days as the hajj and holiday season is now over. How long will it take to get clear is anyone's guess. I signed my offer in July and still waiting.

I am in the same boat like many in this thread from North America..sounds like. My relocation agent did email me last week that I can expect my visa le "very very soon"...this was as of Tuesday of last week but I have not heard since. In that email I was also informed that the last block of visa les were received 9/24/13.

I am also recruited from Houston, have signed my offer letter early July, received orientation on 7/30/13 and on 9/17, I was told that the visa le would arrive soon! I'm not sure how reliable these 'soon' and 'very soon' estimates are :-)

All US payroll recruits are basically on standby until the visa les are approved. My relocation advisor told me that the request was sent on 9/24 to the Kingdom. I have accepted my Offer in July as well and I'm still waiting. My recruiter and relocation advisor informed me from the beginning that the entire hiring procedure is very slow and would take a while. I lean to be patient, stay busy and keep living my life without changes until reception of the final clearance letter. Then I will give my current employer my resignation notice and prepare for departure. Hope to see you all in the Kingdom soon.

I know a lawyer in KSA who told me don't be surprised if there is further delay since the resources at Labor and Interior Ministires could be tied up with this Nov 3rd Amnesty Deadline: www.arabnews.com/news/468328This could be affecting the ability of companies like Aramco to obtain or transfer visas for qualified workers.

o everyone,
I have a strange situation with my visa. I was assigned a visa le, but for a female, so I just lost my chance with this block. My relocation advisor has told me that this may be a quick or a long process. Can anyone shed some light on recent visa experiences? Anyone in the same boat waiting for the next block? If so, how long have you waited. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Best regards to everyone

Everytime I call my RA, I get the answer of "We will let you know when we get it". What kind of responses do you all get from your RA about visa blocks?

Since they do not know when a visa block will come through, that is all they can tell you.

Our RA is great about keeping us posted. She told us that visas were released Friday morning. Hope this is it for this step.
