Congratulations tfcfan for the great news. I received a call from my RA today Oct 18th and my visa is ready. They submitted my visa application on September 24th. Trying to fly to KSA on Nov 1st Insha. My RA is thinking Nov 15th because the house won't be ready by Nov 1st. I will keep you posted. Looking forward to knowing all of you soon...

thanks wecare - ASC will let me know the housing situation on the 22nd - hopefully everything pans out smoothly. exciting times - congrats on your news as well. looking forward to catching up with everyone once there - its great to see so many new people getting there around the same time.

I confirmed my departure date and received my Tickets. Flying out from Calgary on November 15th and will arrive to Dammam on November 16th (through Amsterdam with KLM) . Dhahran here IA. Eid Mubarak to all of you Aramcons……

hi every one, I have a Pakistani passport and Canadian passport is still not received. Will it make a difference when it is submitted for Saudi Visa processing in Ottawa

We will all be interested in whether or not this is a problem for you. The Saudi Embassy issuing visas does seem to want everything to match up. If you were hired on a Canadian payroll and do not have a Canadian passport, it might be a problem. I don't know of anyone having this problem before, so cannot tell you a definite answer.

Hi vpainter and S m Siddiqi , I think I might be able to shed some light and a glimmer of hope on this matter. We are Jordanian , whom are New Zealand permanent residents and have applied and been granted our visa from Canberra Australia! So I guess it may not matter, although dont take this as a general rule since each embassy has its own regulations as well.
