o Canucks....
Any visas issues recently from Ottawa, especially people who applied in July or early August? The Saudi embassy website states indeed that Canadian visas take 22-30 days from the date they are entered in the system...
Another question: when do you know if something is wrong with your visa? In few days or after 30 days when the package is returned to ASC?

Any news regarding Visa? Don't know but this seems really frustrating as its been 2 months since we submitted our passports. Talked to my relocation advisor but she does not know anything as per her opinion this seemed to take longer than usual. Seems like we are stuck in the middle of nowhere. So much stuff to do but don't know how and when?
Any one would like to chime in? Any one got their visas recently?

Hey hey..
some applicants got their visas from Ottawa... Canucks for example got his visa back (passports sent on August 23rd).... I guess we have to wait and see.

The hiring process prepares you for the patience needed with the different culture you are entering. Not a bad thing, just a very different thing.

Our visa got stamped today from Ottawa and passports will be returning to us tomorrow (Oct 12).
Dept. date is Nov 03, 2012(IA)

Congratulations for the great news. Hopefully I will make it to new hire BBQ. I am waiting to hear about my visa. Meanwhile, I am getting ready for our new normal. For those who are getting there before us, please remember to share your first days experience as well as any advice.... cheers

Thanks Wecare. Guess what our visas were stamped on Oct 02 but Houston office sent us on Oct 11. You will get yours soon just be patient and be ready for Canadian BBQ Good luck! |

hi guys - got the call from ASC today - our visa has been stamped. Passports will be with us tomorrow. Fly out date is for Nov 8 - hopefully everything goes smoothly from here IA!
