Finally after waiting for 6 months, I received the offer this week which I accepted after negotiating the package. I was TQ and classed as a back up candidate. The offer is from the same department but with a different team.
The insight I have is that you are given a score during the interview and if the score is satisfactory for other teams, they may hire you.

I was interviewed (virtual) in last week of October 2023. All documents submitted to HR and Credence in the 3rd week of November. After that its silent. Tried contacting HR and I was informed by HR that " You will receive updates from the recruiters on your hiring process once there is any updates" Fingers crossed and waiting in patience.

Has anyone received anything after being backup? I am a backup candidate but haven’t received or heard anything after this. No request of any documents or background check so far. Would appreciate if the forum members can shed more light!
Thanks

Would appreciate if the forum members can shed more light! Thanks I am also waiting. But I have read positive and negative stories on this forum. But I know someone who was a backup candidate and just left for KSA. So I personally think it varies from case to case and patience is needed.

It’s been 5 months for me. Does it make sense to still be hopeful? I mean should I stop following up now?
