Do they go back 10 years for employment verification? Yes and be ready for very detailed checks. The process can last for a while. |

A week or 2 minimum - could be longer depending on how deep or far back they need to go for the particular position.
Aramco time does not stick to any particular deadlines.

No diff than any other BG for any other potential employment. They just want confirm and validate degrees and employment listed on resume and application. Additionally, make sure no criminal record you’re trying to hind. Nothing more.
If you lied or if there was no proof of degree(s) or employment listed on app or you have criminal record, I assume this would disqualify you like for any other company.

Assuming no issues w/ BG check, it’s done and you’re cleared. Now medical tests & exams for visa.

kbat - Hi, I have been informed that the BI checks report has been sent to Saudi from the UK, can any one shed some light on what happens next.
I have few questions if you can help:
1. How much time in total it took for you to receive the credence background check clearance?
2. Whether we can follow up directly with credence for the status of the background verification process?

Hi Fingen,
If report has been sent to Saudi then credence checks in the UK are complete. Should be quick now.
No point in contacting credence now.
After I was informed that my report was sent to Saudi, it was just about 2-3 weeks till confirmation that alls complete.

Hi Kbat - Actually my report is still not yet send by credence to Saudi...this was your post i copied to ask my question as i didnt find the option to reply to your post.
Anyway i wanted to know how much time it will normally takes for credence to complete the background check. I submitted the requested documents to Credence on 15th July 2023. They confirmed to me that they dont need anything more from me. Also they told me they cannot tell me the status of my application as per Aramco policy and they will directly report it to Aramco.

I am informed by recruiter that I am selected. Have submitted all documents in soft copy as required by Aramco. I am been advised Medical next week.
I am confused how can medical test be done before Background check?
