I am nearly 61 and received an invitation to interview for a teaching position. I have read several posts that state I can’t legally work in Saudi Arabia past the age of 60. Has anyone heard if the age restriction has been lifted? I just don’t want to waste anyone’s time if it’s impossible for me to get employment. TIA!

Age restrictions have not been lifted, to work past 60 requires an extension that requires senior management approval and is granted for a 1 year duration. Employees with 10+ years experience often do not receive extensions. Two engineers I know are in that situation, one just received word he received his extension, I haven't heard back from the other friend. I have not heard of teachers receiving extensions.
