Hi,
I was interviewed for a position. Didn’t hear back from the HR. Contacted the team that interviewed me, they said I am the preferred candidate. The HR contacted me with the regret email. I contacted back the technical team (on LinkedIn), they said they selected me. I am not sure what’s happening. Is it because the Houston HR hasn’t received the update yet ? Did someone experience this before ?

Hmm, unusual to reach out to hiring org at Saudi Aramco in KSA and bypassing the aramco recruiter for a status update but seems there is a disconnect between hiring org and recruiter/HR system.

Thanks, Patience is the name of the game here...took me 4-5 months to get my offer which was 4 interviews later...so just wait around is the best advise to be honest |

Curious, when written offers come in does the recruiter call or is everything just communicated through email?

I received an email from the HR rep a few days prior saying an official written offer will be made in the coming days, and then another person made contact with a written off by email, but in the email said to arrange a time to call to discuss the offer. |

Ok, thanks for the info! I have the status, “We will contact you ASAP to discuss our for you.” I provided all the initial req docs (full job app, diplomas, pic of passport, etc) about 10 days ago and have submitted everything through the onboarding portal.
Hope to receive offer soon!

The GM of the dept, who conducted my last interview said he wanted me there before year end, so they can’t move to slow.
