What’s your nationality/country passport? No one on this forum can provide the reasoning why you were not selected after an interview. “Under Review” status really means nothing and I believe is auto response as soon as you apply. |

I applied for several positions which suit my experience and qualifications but there are still under review. I live in Libya and hold the country passport and nationality. I think ARAMCO is more interested in hiring employees from Europe and North America, so based on that they declined my applications and I have four applications on under review. A recruiter from NA told me that your application had been declined because of your location. The recriter contacted the hiring managers for ten times but without any responce nor feedback.

Posting again for the sake of getting an answer. I had an interview last Feb and I have been sent nothing or contacted in offcially. No response nor rejection or even a feedback A recruiter from different area had a look at the system and he said the application was declined two weeks after the interview because of my location, this all what I obtained. I had no access to the portal because a recruiting company applied on behalf of me. Now I had no feedback or justification why they declined my application. Also I applied for three more roles and has been showing under review for two months. Any one has an idea or experience or explanation. Hoping to have an or answers [br Since you were declined why not move on and keep job hunting. I applied for several but they are still uner review for 3 months |

Hi Kynyxxx I am in the same situation as you. I attended interview in November and the status says Thank you for your efforts so far. Your recruiter will connect with you when we can continue the process. How is it for you now hope it has progressed further? In my case the job got created and posted in their site after my interview say in December only. I applied for that in the system and my status immediately changed to you are selected for interview and within a week to above status now. Any further insights? Oh, ok. Its strange they already started my employment background checks, and even today got an email asking to complete online background search from a company they hired to conduct background checks. Look like there I either disconnect, or maybe I am missing something. Will keep updated everyone.

I have had my application status changed to Congratulation! You have been selected for an Interview about 4 weeks ago and not contact yet. Is this normal? Where is your location? It is possible that the interview dates have not been fixed, assuming it’s a physical interview. And even if it’s a video call, the date might not have been fixed. Sometimes, things can be extremely slow. You have to be patient. Go about your daily life and wait to see from them |

Where is your location? Since you didn’t apply directly, the recruiting company should be the one to give you feedback. As for the new roles you applied for, under review means your application is under review. It’s the standard update after submitting the application. |

Hi All,
If could someone had the same of what I have currently.
First interview 22-5
Second interview 15-6
Positive feedback from hiring management requesting to fill up forms, provide certification, passport copies, payslips, etc
And the subject in mail moving to back up candidate stage
All above has been provided on 5-8
What doed that mean back up candidate? And when I expect to receive the offer

Means what it says. They’ve made an offer to someone else and he or she has accepted. If that person falls through for whatever reason, they will comeback to you.

I have no hard data but I believe a good percentage of backup candidates end up getting offers eventually but not every backup candidate. How long that will take to get a final answer is anyone’s guess- could be weeks to months?
