Greetings from Canada,
I have recently received an offer to join Saudi Aramco in Dhahran. My position is at GC 13 and I'm thinking I will bring 3 dependents with me (wife + 2 kids). I haven't responded to the offer yet, we have a lot of responsibilities here that would be difficult to manage. Could anyone on this forum aid me on what kind of housing I would receive? Are there homes available in Dhahran currently? I've read some posts from a few years back saying there is limited or no space in Dhahran but I'm not sure if this is still the case.

Congrats on your offer. I am also from Canada. I received my offer few weeks ago and currently going through the background check process and other steps. From what I have learned, based on your famil size, you will be offered a 3 bedroom apartment at the Dhahran camp. Feel free to connect via PM if needed.

Do you mind sharing the following - if you were requested to provide current salary slips? - was your salary package modelled on the existing formula.( current salary + Overbase + more.. - What relocation benefits offered to you from Canada? - Are you offered residence on the compound with schooling? North American citizens always get houses inside the camp. You will get a three-bedroom townhouse, I believe.

Also there are not many expats these days; so plenty of houses available.

I am an EU passport holder and about to move to the Kingdom (dhahran). I have been allocated a 3-bedroom house in the Aramco Camp for myself and my family (a total of 5). I understand that these days there is a 99%+ chance to be house in the camp (I am talking about the main Dhahran one) if you are a GC12 and above. But never a guarantee.
