I applied for two jobs that are actually the same in everything except for the job code , the status for both of them was “ congratulations! You’ve been selected for an interview “ but now one of them turned to “ not selected “ and the other is still the same . Does anybody knows what that means ?

It means that they plan on interviewing for one requisition but not the other. Sounds like in your case there maybe multiply requisitions for the same job for same dept? It wouldn't make sense to keep your name on multiple requisitions for the same job.
You shouldn't worry as long as you're still selected for an interview for at least one of your job apps.

Hi I applied for a role and initially the status changed to ‘Congratulations your application has been forwarded’ then after some weeks I noticed that it has changed to ‘Congratulations, you application has been forwarded to the hiring organization’ . Please is there a difference with the two statuses above? After this what’s the next stage ?

I am new here and thanks for the forum.
I have also applied for the above role and status was initially “Late applicant, please complete application” this I think is because it was my agent that submitted my application. Out of anxiety I completed the application myself and the status changed to “Congratulations, application forwarded” is being in this status since September.
Can someone advise what “late application” status is? Was it good idea I went in to complete the application myself?
Please help with available info on the above and how long does it take for the status to change?

You will see from previous threads it’s anyones guess the timing or if you will advance or not in selection process. It could be days, weeks or even months for a status to change.

I only have a partial response to this original question plus a question where I am hoping someone can help me as well. In my case for one of the jobs I applied for at Aramco, I had following steps and statements against my application in Aramco's online application system; 1. Application submitted 2. Congratulations! Your application has been forwarded. 3. Congratulations! You have shortlisted for the interview. 4. Thank you for your interest so far. Your recruiter will connect to you when we can continue the process. 5. ........ So, I am at step 4 above as appeared on my online application form on Aramco's job portal. I don't know what this statement in step 4 really means. Is it that I now have to wait until all other interviews for the same position are completed by the interviewers or I am just a second or third priority candidate and therefore, may or may not get selected for this job. Is it normal to receive this statement on your job application after your interview? Can someone please share his/her experiences? I am quite keen to join Aramco but don't know if this statement is good thing or bad thing in your status update. I received this statement on the same day I had my interview. Very much appreciate your help with this. Hi Maxi, Have you got an update on your status yet? Coz i just had the same status as you today. I did online interview in early September and no news since then until i got this update. Thanks |

Most likely means you’re still under consideration but something has happened to put a hold from moving forward w/ your app at this time. Which, could be anyone ones guess why? Maybe they want to look at someone else first? The interviewers are on vacation or not available to conduct for the interview for another reason for a few weeks? Every job, hiring org, and timing of hiring process is uniquely diff. No one on this board can tell you the exact reason for the most latest status change you received. The recruiter maybe, if you have a contact? The good news is that you still have hope until it states “Not Selected”.

I had 4 active application, yesterday I noticed that 2 of them disappeared from the website. Anyone had the same situation? What can I do?! Its also bad because one of them had "forwarded" status.

I just got interviewed and next day asked for payslips and passport copy.
Is that mean that offer is coming?
In the portal I have got message as” thank you for participating in our interview process” though.
Has anyone got similar experience?
