o,
I had my interview in May 2022 in the US, the HR rep contacted a week after that my interview went well and they are preparing my offer letter. He requested for the usual documents (payslips, completed form, etc.), which I sent to him the same day.
I have not gotten the offer letter up till now. I’ve sent several follow up emails and the response has been….they are waiting for response from the department in KSA.
Does anyone have similar experience? What would you advise? Thanks

Does anyone had experience to ask Aramco to revise the offer due to current market escalations/inflations during the hiring process and after they have already accepted the offer? considering hiring process takes around 6 months or longer

Does anyone had experience to ask Aramco to revise the offer due to current market escalations/inflations during the hiring process and after they have already accepted the offer? considering hiring process takes around 6 months or longer We’ve had quite a number of candidates doing this, especially Saudi candidates where they can get 20-30% more locally. Aramco just isn’t that compeive anymore, those on good salaries back home will struggle to get an offer that is particularly compeive (tax savings aside). If you’re in a growth market Aramco pays below the mean. From those that negotiated some were offered a bit more (think 5%), but vast majority were not as aramco can’t be very flexible (without months of sign offs and paperwork that nobody wants to do)
