Hi all,
I’ve applied for the position of secretary with Saudi Aramco, within a week of applying I had a phone call for the interview via Skype with Saudi. I had my interview last Sunday, 21st, it was turned into a final interview (which the recruitment company said must be a good sign). They’ve sent me the typing test and have already asked me for documents, moving much faster than I expected!
Is anyone else going through the recruitment process during these strange times?
Anyone already out there and can give their feedback on how their recruitment process went?

Good for you. My interview was similar, with only one round interview.

Hi 😊 Firstly, congratulations! They changed the recruiting process slightly due to Covid hence only 1 interview. I received documentation via DHL including Conditional Contract on Friday. I also had a call from Alina from Aramco on Thursday to discuss the next steps. Credence are currently carrying out backgrounds checks and I have to attend a medical (possibly in London). I also have to complete an online secretarial course. She did advise they could not confirm a start date as yet however would likely be end of August. I am hoping all goes smoothly as I am excited to secure the position (plus my sister has been based in Dharahn for 17 years so she is equally excited) Best of luck and please keep me posted on your progress.

Hi Expats! I originally posted in the job seekers forum, but I feel it is appropriate to put it here now. The link to the original post is here. I will update this post with date stamps as things progress, so that others can have an idea of the timeline. The gist of it is below: March 5 2021: e-mailed Saudi Aramco recruiter at Houston March 9 2021: phone call with recruiter March 26 2021: e-mail from recruiter stating they would like to interview me April 22 2021: formal request for an interview on HireVue May 5 2021: HireVue interview (~1 hour) May 24 2021: phone call from Houston recruiter saying they will be making an offer. June 7 2021: Offer received I'm from Canada. My experience might be a little different from most. I have a PhD in a very specific field that the Carbon Management R&D department were looking for. A recruiter from Houston e-mailed my old PhD advisor with the job posting, who forwarded the job to me. On March 5th I e-mailed the recruiter with my academic CV (like a normal CV but longer - it lists all your publications and academic accomplishments) and on March 9th we had a phone conversation to discuss the application process. In a follow up e-mail I answered a series of job-related questions that she used to prepare a cover letter on my behalf (!) I received an informal e-mail on March 26th stating they would like to interview me for the position. Fast forward a month to the 22nd of April and I was contacted to organize an interview on HireVue for May 5th. We completed the interview last week, it was roughly an hour and was a very pleasant conversation. I have been notified from the recruiter that I will be receiving a job offer. The recruiter asked me what sort of salary I would expect, and other related questions. This was so Aramco could prepare an offer that took into account my responses. Update: I have received the offer on the 7th of June. I won't discuss salary here but it is at GC13

Hi Charlotte. Do you have any update yet on your job offer? I'm just waiting for confirmation passport has been stamped by the Embassy. Hoping so as they are now closed for Eid. Hope all going well for you too 😊

I'm curious if anyone has contacted the hiring managers on status? Is there any policy that prevents managers to reply? Is all communication limited to the recruiter? Thanks

As far as I am aware, candidates are not allowed any contact with hiring managers and all correspondence must go through recruitment offices

I got the oral confirmation and request for documents on Oct 4th 2021 and conditional offer on November 23rd. So its very different in each case, stay tight long road ahead.
