and some position appears on different recruiting sites because each of them are separately treated. some departments wanted to have enough candidates to discuss with them after crisis is contained but all recruitment ads will be removed.

I have had a discussion with HR in London and I found out that due to COVID and oil price some decisions were taken for expat hiring. one of the was to freeze hiring process for expats, some position were cut from organigram. for some key positions the hiring process will continue but almost all processes will be restarted when COVID crisis will be contained and when oil price will be at a certain level. I found out that the position I was started hiring process was cut but I was declared professionally qualified for a future job when conditions will be better, maybe in 2021 or earlier. Thanks Andrew for the update. Is it clear if after all of this is over same positions will be re-posted and people who were declared professionally qualified for future jobs will be considered for the same positions or one needs to apply for whatever is there at that time. I noticed on Aramco job website lately that there is a single general job posting for candidates interested in working with Aramco, no position number or job le, seems like creating new candidate pool.

Thanks for the information all. I haven’t heard from recruiter for a while. I applied for a role in downstream and the job seems to be there still.
I noticed the most of the postings have disappeared. Will cross fingers...

In time things will work themselves out, but even more than typical with the process this is a bukra insh year. You have to look at this as how many levels the information rolls down hill. Ultimately it is the Ministry of Health that is deciding when the Covid19 restrictions will be lifted. Until then, the company can't even plan let alone take action. Once they get the information, then they can start planning. Then that information will be shared with departments, then they can work out their hiring plans, then recruiters get contacted and so on. On top of that you have the economic turmoil and uncertainty. So, I would write off this entire year and not be surprised if it's 2021 before anyone starts getting offers, or the recruiting process starts back up.

It was inevitable given the current circumstances. Has anyone in the Management Consultant division been affected, either new hires or existing employees.
My offer was also retracted
