I got the email as well though I am a newbee just received offer last month and haven;t even been through the visa med. Also for degree attestation I was told that my ACCA certificate would be attested rather than my Uni degree from Pakistan.
Does anyone know here if Visa les are by person and if I am late for e.g. for Visa med (appointment after 2 weeks from now) could it be given to another person?

akash,
I was told that my ACCA certificate can be attested by Harley Visa Med rather than my Pakistan Uni degree.

umeedwar,
Visa les are by position.
The document (visa block) can have many applicants, but not by name, they are by position. The request is made: Position - Nationality - Point of Origin. So if you are applying for example for Geologist and you are from England but you live in Germany, than the line to get you visa le in any visa block will say: Geologist - British - Germany

umeedwar and akash,
All education documents need to be attested by Saudi Cultural Bureau in London and then by Saudi Embassy London. Harley can assist you in getting these attestation but they have no influence or attestation power on their own.
To be on the safe side, my suggestion is that you should also get a letter of equivalency and a certificate of equivalency from UKNARIC stating that ACCA is equivalent to a UK masters degree and get these attested along with ACCA membership certificate as I have heard that for Iqama and faimly sponsorship, the ministry in Saudi Arabia insist on degrees and attested certifications is a grey area so better not take any risks.
Good luck and have speedy attestations.

Thank you all for your greetings. Visa is now being processed, our passports are with Harley in London ( maybe they were submitted last Friday to the KSA embassy) we expect to get some news this week, as today is bank holiday in the UK.

This message would be relevant to AOC candidates.
o
I'm sure many of you have heard the good news on visa block release. If you've not then I'm sure you will this week.
I was notified about mine on Friday, and submitted my passport to Harley on the same day.
My RA said that they've received some 200 visa les, and almost all those waiting will be included in this release! Because of this there would also be some delay in Relos notifying candidates about visa release, etc...
Those who submitted there passports Harley last week - have you heard anything back from them?

Good news really! So i suppose from the moment you submit your passport to be stamped then you`re at the final stage to depart. How long they have told you it will take you to get your visa and be ready to leave? Is it true the visa is valid for 90days from the moment you will have it in your hands? Does this also mean that someone can depart within 90 days or you can negotiate the travel date based on the notice period you have given to current employer

Many thanks for the info UK_Finance_Applicant! Unfortunately, last Monday my reloc adv informed me that my visa le wasn't received but they expect more visa les soon. Are you aware if there is a new release of visa block?

My degree attestation process from Pakistan is still pending. but Aramco has agreed to get my ACA certificate attested from London - so that process has now started. I guess what degree you MUST have attested would depend on visa le you get.
If you're going for an engineering position then you must get your engineering degree attested, if not then as long as you get a degree attested that can meet requirement for Aramco. I'm a candidate for finance - so there appears to be a bit of flexibility.

I guess most of you have received your visa les and only a minority not included to this visa block release (including myself). Is there anyone else waiting for the next visa block from AOC London? Any updates?

Hi all,
I just wanted to provide an update on the visa block issue. I heard from my Relocation Advisor earlier today that my visa le was released, and that our passports are being sent on to Ottawa for the visa stamping. Overall, the process has been fairly quick with the initial interview being about 2 months ago, and BI/medical completed around 3 weeks ago.
I wanted to see if there had been instances where the visa wasn't given, or if the stamping of the visa is fairly straightforward at this stage?
Thanks!
