Any news which office the visa blocks have been issued for? ASC or AOC?
Not sure if the visa blocks are received by point of origin ?
Any further insight would be much appreciated !

Some are assigned to ASC, some to ASC but is nationality what matters

So visa blocks are issued by nationalities? Atleast there is some order / sequence in which it is done!!
Anyone has news on what nationalities were issued visa blocks this week?
And so far I've gathered that the visa block is issued for the family - and not just the candidate, this is correct?
And if visa blocks are issued by nationality and also if it is issued for the family (and not just the candidate), what happens if spouse has a different nationality??
In my case, I'm British National, but my wife is not (she has a Pakistani) passport.
What would happen in my case?

All, Just received the news from my RA that my visa le is ready,  visa stamped should be done next week as my current visa medical result has not run out...... Fingers cross... |

Got confirmation from my 'relocvisor' from AOC today that my visa is included in the last batch released yesterday.
I am a french national living in North Africa, but they have indicated in the visa that my point of origin is London (previously it was France).
For that reason I will now have to go to London for new medical checks (did already two times in France).
Will see if I can make it until end of June or if it will take a bit more time.
Congrats to those joining the train, and I wish patience and good luck to the others.

had some sort of confirmation that this visa block for AOC includes dutch, serbian, french, 'other' european AND some british nationals... all the best to those waiting for their le!

So, last batch approved was for AOC (London) candidates only? Nothing for ASC (Houston)?

fgonza: I called my relocation advisor in Houston today (thursday) to ask for a status update. She told me that indeed they received part of the latest visa block and that they had contacted all recipients (or almost all) on wednesday. She mentioned that the nationalities included in this block were: Venezuelans, Colombians, Panama, and Trinidad... Unfortunately, my le was not included in this batch... :?

Hi All,
At long last, after 9 months of waiting, my passport was stamped with the visa by the Saudi Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Now waiting for AOC London to finalise everything. ETD to KSA, before the end of the month (hopefully).
Will keep everyone updated.

Mabrook ritzkool. You are going to try and get there before Ramadan?
I don't think visa block releases are specific to ASC or AOC - they are simply released by nationality and distributed to the right executing company. Sometimes ASC gets them first, sometimes AOC gets them first (usually not more than 2 weeks apart).

Congrats to everyone who has received good news. Also, thanks to those who post whatever snippets of information they've got. I was interviewed and made an offer on the 15th of September 2013. Soon it'll be nine months for me, too... :cry: |
