I have a quick question regarding block visa slip or visa papers.
I am in early stages of clearing my contingencies.
I received my offer 3 weeks ago, and submitted all requested information for BI clearance, and I have my medical booked in for next week.
I also need to have my degree attested, from pakistan.
The attestation can take 2-3 months, after all support documents are submitted. Part of the requirement is that the Saudi cultural needs a copy of the block visa slip, or a paper with my visa details (which I've been told is called enjaz).
My relocation advisor tells me that this has not been issued as yet, and could take time.
The chap at Saudi cultural said that with visa slip he cannot accept my docs for attestation, and the fact that I've been given a contract of employment means that my visa slip (enjaz?) has Been issued by ministry of labour, without which companies in Saudi cannot issue an offer - he tells me this is the law. Is this true??
My question on this forum is, did anyone of you who have been waiting for block visa to be issued have had any of your contingencies held up because of this, eg degree attestation? Did any of you receive any other document issued from ministry of labour or something called enjaz (which is a online screen shot, with basic details on the candidate) ??
Any advise on what contingencies need to be cleared before block visa can be expected would be appreciated.
