Folks, I would appreciate if you can help me with below questions: - I have an interview scheduled in couple of weeks for an IT position. They have asked me to fly for interview to London (based in Ireland). They have asked for usual documents, copy of passport, degrees etc. Is it a good sign? Do they interview lot of people? what are the chances that they will hire you? Some body suggested, that if you are selected for interview, you are already 70% in? Its a great company to work for and I cant stop day dreaming  . But I dont want set high expectations in mind - shattered dreams hurt a lot!!

Aramco is going through a large hiring time.
They do ask for information up front, that way if your interview is good and you are a good fit, they already have information from you and can work on an offer.
That being said, you can do a search for "Timeline" on the forum and see the wide spread of timelines between each stage of the hiring process. Coming to work requires patience and time.

Thanks gun420. Can you give me hint, if the interview was technical or just behavioral. Were the probing technically to find your strengths? Were you interviewed in London? 5 people, means they would be expats.
Thanks

@ leom... i was interviewed in Houston. 3 guys were arab national i am guessing they were IT managers and other 2 seemed like IT consultants. Interview was a mixture of technical and soft skills...but they only give you less than 20 mins to shine.

I like to know , how long will it take to get interview call after you applied for IT position ?. Aramco is really a dream company to work for , reading through forum , it looks like their hiring process take longer then expected. I really appreciate if someone can provide timeline on how long it will take to get an interview call after you applied for a position on their web side.
Thanks in advance, Ray

You can see timelines by doing a search on the forum for "Timeline".
Everyone's timeline is different. The ones listed will show you the timeline is a few weeks to over a year. For any part of the hiring process.
Patience is required to come to work for ARAMCO.

Took me three months after applying to get the first email. People are contacted after years as I can read on this forum. Patience is Virtue!! Specially, when pitching for Aramco!
