Good morning everyone,
Can anyone provide some advice regarding the hiring procedure?.
I am going to have an interview soon on London office for an instrumentation/control engineer, so any piece of info such as interview questions,number of people, etc, would be valuable for me.
I am married,no children, i am currently working as Network Engineer in a telecoms provider , i have western passport (not uk or american) and i possess 11+yrs of exp in this field.
Furthermore, i have the following skills:
CCNA R&S,CCNP R&S,CCSP,CCNP Security,MCP,HCNE,ITILv3 Foundation,Prince2 Foundation.
BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, United Kingdom.
MSc in Telecoms & Computer Network Engineering, United Kingdom,London.
What would a good salary package be for me and my wife in order to have a descent life and have savings at the same time?.
What is the norm package offer from Saudi Aramco for expats?.Is it computed based on someone`s current salary in his country of origin?Is there space for negotiation or "take it or leave it" ?

Congratz on securing a position. Now I am on the same boat as you were. Can you please share your experience with me i.e what happend during interview, questions they asked and any tips you can give?. I have got system yst interview linedup nex month.

dear friend,
we re on the same timeline too.
I had my first interview on 30/05/2014 in London Aramco Offices and since then i`ve been waiting also for the visa block release and visa le.
By the way, when your medical and B.I were cleared, did AOC or ASC inform you about that by email or did they sent you a confirmation letter for that?
I ask this because the last time i had my medical visa tests was on 03th of July 2014 and still i havent received any feedback from them.
The strange thing is that my relo advisor has told me that when there will be some news for the visa block release then they will let me know.
I thought that is a requirement for a candidate to pass all the contigencies first before proceed to the visa block release stage, am i right?.
So suppose my contigencies are currently cleared (hopefully), then will AOC ask for my degrees to be attested then? My degrees (BSc + MSc) are both from universities from the UK.
How long the attestation procedure normally takes?
