szas - did you get your passports back on nov 6th or does it take a few days after that for the passports to come back?

I am told that the Passports with other stuff in the package will be mailed to me the next day, hoping to recieve after the weekend.

I applied for visa on oct 8th and today (nov 18) got confirmation that its done. 38 days after....

Congratulations gu420. I had a question, Did you send the passport to ASC on Oct 8 or did ASC sent the passport to Ottawa on Oct 8. I wanted to get an idea as to where the delay was?

hmz,
ACS sent passport to ottawa oct/18 and two days after were eid holidays (5 days off) so that added. Typical turn around time is 20 days for canadian.

Well, we received the call we have been for last couple of weeks. Our visas are stamped and now deciding the departure date from Edmonton. Now it's time to pack |

Sorry for the delay as we were preparing for our departure. It took us about 7 weeks.

Submitted our passports to ASC on 6th Feb 2014. Are there any one else waiting from Canada waiting for their visas?

We submitted our passports on Feb 4th, we were told four weeks at the absolute most. Will let you know when I hear anything.
