I have just received an email from my relocation advisor stating saudi aramco are withdrawing their job offer due to me not meeting one or more of the criteria in their job offer letter.
No explanation as to why.
Very sad news indeed.
Is there any comeback from these letters or is that my career over and done with Saudi aramco?
Has anyone else had similar experiences..?

Did you accept the offer and after that Aramco withdrawn or they never offer you a job just verbal conversation. Mean where you were in the process when they withdraw as I was interviewed in 2008 and they told me verbally that they will offer me a job but after few months they send me post card with sorry

Written job offer accepted, currently going through BI and medical. Samso requested more info on previous medical issue that has cleared up..but obviously Samso were not happy..
I would not have minded saudi aramco withdrawing the job offer, if I was told the reason for it.
It's a shame really but chin up. Onwards and upwards.. I also would not have minded the wasted 4months and turning my families life upside down, but Saudi aramco approached me in the first instance.
Any help would be appppreciated

Cawdordon, It is indeed unfortunate to receive this news but I agree that the company should have at least mentioned the reason(s) for the denial. I was wondering though if you tried to negotiate the offer. I am currently in the first phase of the hiring process, and hesitant to pursue any contract negotiations fearing potential adverse outcome. Your input is appreciated.

Cawdordon, Even though the offer was withdrawn, do apply for any other job openings you would want to. The next group with an opening may take you.

Thankyou vpainter, I did not realise you could apply for other jobs. Would the prospective new section not read the notes of the other department?
I was very disappointed for sure, but took the decicion that it was not meant to be!!
thankyou for all your help.
kind regards George

I understand from my experience here that Saudi Aramco makes offer to more candidates than required. This is to have a back-up plan if any one of the offered candidate get rejected during the hiring process.
Most of the cases, selected candidates make through if not in hiring organization in other organization.
In rare cases, job offers were withdrawn when there is no possibility of accommo......... the candidate based on the position/experience etc.
Hence, it is always advised to follow ASC instructions to continue what you are doing back home.
Best wishes to all !

If job offer was withdrawn due to medical reasons, it is Dept who make that call, not SAMSO. If you apply again another Dept might make a different decision. Just make sure you provide as much medical info as possible to show that you are not a medical liability.

Good day, I just got the job offer from Aramco withdrawn without reason today.I did ask for a pay increase which was granted and i was just getting started with organizing document for verfication. I am so happy that this happened at this stage and not when i had resigned from my current job. I work for an IOC and today recieved a fantastic offer with career prospects. I am writing this so that people with "job offers" from Aramco should know that the documents cannot be trusted until they are at the work place in Saudi Arabia. Don't be attracted by the good financial package alone. Please look carefully before you take this decision.Once again my thanks to Saudi Aramco for giving me a job for a few weeks.

Hi all paskito, why they withdrawn your offer. In fact You make me worry as I got the offer 2 weeks ago and I requested for more salary. Until now I am waiting as recruiter told me that he is waiting for department reply. What could be the worst scenario. In fact the offer I got is good but more is better . I am afraid to regret
Thanks

Out of curiosity, were any of you applying for positions within SAMSO (medical branch of Aramco) ?

That is sad news especially when they don't tell you why you were denied

Aramco will not ask any applicant to resign from job until visa is in passport. An offer will not usually be withdrawn after visa is stamped.
