Fishing and kayaking

I have been told to do a lot of research before applying so let me ask a question about a really important topic. I did a search and the posts are over a year old so I thought I would ask and get the most current information.

I kayak and like to fish from my kayak. What are the opportunities to kayak and/or fish like over there? I know it would likely be off the beach, since Saudi Arabia is mainly desert.

Do you need a fishing license?
If you wanted to bring back fresh fish for dinner, is that allowed.
If fishing IS an option, are there places that sell fishing equipment, bait, the necessities?

Anything else I should know that I missed?
