I wondered if there were any electrical engineering staff, who would be able to give me some advice on working in Dhahran. Do you get supplied with your own tool kit and test meters, or do you use the departments you work in test equipment.
Although I was interviewed for one post I was offered a completely different post. Namely Senior power system technician. To be fair the post le is irrellivent, as I assume once you have worked for aramco you can work almost anywhere in the world. I currently work in the electrical department of a power station in the UK. Any advice would be appreciated.

What sort of work clothing is issued for electrical staff?
Is it fireproof?
Do you have to bring your own tools? Test meters?
Any information would be greatly received

If you are a technician Aramco will supply you with all of your own tools and test kit as well as PPE. You don't need to supply anything yourself
