Can anyone shed some light on this topic? My husband has been with Aramco for a year now and we have no option of an Aramco compound due to our location, so we have been living in a standard house in a local neighbourhood. However, we are now thinking we would be happier in a compound (non-Aramco) and we were wondering about this policy change. So as I understand it, we are enled to 3 months salary to go towards rent, and on top of that an additional 70,000 SARS? (We have 2 children...and a 3rd on the way). Is this correct? Does anyone know where this information can be found? We can't seem to find any info about this new policy so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I posted this info on another thread a little while ago, after the announcement of the policy change was emailed to all Euro/Sterling payroll employees - anyway, here it is again:
In addition to the unaccountable rental assistance allowance (RAA) of 3 months' base salary plus overbase, up to a maximum of SR120,000, there will be an additional accountable portion available only if actual costs exceed the allowance, and based on a copy of the actual lease agreement, up to a maximum as follows:
Married + none or 1 child - SR 50,000 Married + 2 or 3 children - SR 70,000 Married + 4 or more children - SR 90,000

Thank you, Yes, I saw it on a previous thread, that's why I wanted more info, I actually meant where can this information be found since it is not in our IR manual...anyway, just found out this applies to those living in Dharan...rather than everyone. Thanks anyway.

Sorry, you're right. The policy change was announced by email. I just went back to the original email (which was sent on March 26 this year) and as you have found out, but I had not noticed, the first line states:
