On the 2nd of July I was invited for an interview at London Saudi Aramco office, at New Oxford street. The recruiter said that the company will reimburse travel expenses and 1 night hotel stay. Before paying for tickets and hotel I sent all the prices to the recruiter for approve. I got an email that prices are ok, and they are waiting for me on the 2nd of July. He emailed me reimbursement form. I filled out the form with all the expenses and added copies of my tickets and hotel booking. After the interview I gave it to the recruiter at the office.
One month past and I wrote to the recruiter asking about reimbursement. He answered that the process wasn’t even initiated and promised to start the process. He wrote that it can take up to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks and no money I wrote to him again. But my messages were never delivered to the recruiter email address, it looks like I was added to the spam list by him. I wrote him from 2 different accounts but still no answer.
So, I assumed that Saudi Aramco, one of the biggest companyes in the world was lying me about reimbursement. The total of my expenses is about 350GBP.
I want to ask an advice on where to write, what department or person is responsible for reimbursement.
Or is it a usual Saudi Aramco reimbursement policy: lie about reimbursement?

Aramco does reimburse for interview travel expenses.
An online search Of Aramco in KSA will give you a contact address for the company. Put it attention of HR for UK employees.
I hope you get your reimbursement.
FYI: Your inability to contact your recruiter could be due to the Internet outages within Aramco, coming out of Ramadan, when most everything occurs slowly and many people were on vacation.

Since August 15 when there was a network outage, until just the last couple of days, it was not possible for emails to be sent from outside the company to a company email address or vice versa. In addition, many financial systems, possibly including those used for authorization of reimbursement of expenses, were affected.
As mentioned on another thread, recruiters in Houston were given gmail accounts to help alleviate the problem. To the best of my knowledge, "outside" emails can now be sent and received again by company email accounts.
Try emailing your recruiter again - now that the email system is back up and running (at least, it is here in kingdom) you should hopefully be able to get a response now.

I was reimbursed for my expenses, but it did take several months. Especially with the current computer issues it may just be delayed...
