Hi, I have just registered and this is my first post. This site has great information and I am glad that people take time to guide and educate new comers like myself.
If all goes well, I will be moving from US to Dhahran late September. We have XBOX Kinect and we have purchased games online that are saved to the XBOX hard drive. Just wondering if these would work in Dhahran. I am planning to bring my TV with me.

Yes the games you've downloaded should work...I know that my boys have purchased games for their Xbox and play them here. According to my boys in order to download some games, it will require you to be on a VPN. There are VPN router devices that allow all WiFi devices to connect via it and allow the download. They also had issues with purchasing some games/downloads using the credit card for their Xbox Live account but found that they could with microsoft points. I hope this helps as I'm just relaying what they have told me as I'm Xbox illiterate.

Thanks Bolishfamily, this is really great news. My son is glued to XBOX and I now plan to carry it with me in my luggage.
Regarding VPN, any suggestions on which provider to sign up with? I was looking at WiTopia. I have never used personal VPN, so am new to this. All guidance would be appreciated.
