Since my date of hire last year, the Euro value dropped by more tnan 15% and the Euro-crisis is expanding...What can be done against that? who can help in providing any type of salary protection for me as a Euro-Employee? any suggestions will be appreciated... Regards!

People on sterling payroll had the same issue when the 2007/2008 financial crisi. The value of GBP depreciated by 30-40 percent for some people and a lot of us wrote an email to personnel and requested for Exchange Rate protection. It took close to a year before they finally agreed and implemented the exchange rate protection. Later, they amended it to protect against your home currency (as they are 44 nationalities on sterling payroll)
