Hi there! I just got my Aramco offer and I am really excited to make my move! One thing that does worry me is the social aspect. It seems that most people living in Dharhan are with their families, so what do single people do after work and on the weekends? I have a pretty good social life here in Canada and would like to meet some friends in KSA as well for traveling, working out and hanging out together. If there are any people in a similar situation, please share your experiences! Thanks!  |

There are lots of singles and lots of self-directed groups for you to get involved with and socialize.
You will have friends to travel, exercise and hang out with.

Hi, I just wanted to know if you or anyone else had first-hand experience in this regard, or would be willing to discuss it. I am considering an offer by Saudi Aramco, and must admit that this aspect is a bit daunting. I'm a 31 single guy, and just want to be sure that there would be others around to hang out with. The standard response on this board seems to be that there are lots of activities groups - which is great but it would be nice to chat by email with someone who's experienced it.
