On the immunization lists, Meningococcal vaccine is recommended. That means it's not required is it? My son is entering 2nd grade and other than this vaccine, he got all other. We've been trying to contact the nurse but hasn't got response yet. Thank you!

Don't worry about it...in the US they would not give the vaccine to our youngest prior to coming over and he was 10 at the time. If there are any vaccines that are missing or needing boosters, they will provide at the clinic. My youngest still has not received it as I will wait until he is going to boarding school which it is required. The vaccine is only good for 5 years.
